zomaru (11/13/2015) [-] The problem is there is a big difference between a flimsy foil and a ridged saber, Kendo would be a better alternative. There are monks that fight with staves like that too. If we were to pit a Monk and a Kendo champion together it would be quite interesting, but probably short match.

One could see that he was not going for the legs, but rather sliding above the ground. Enabling the opponent to jump over it.
The kick was aimed high, not to hit the enemy. Just so the opponent could duck under it.
A most impressive battle nevertheless.
