Is Sithis a daedric prince?
#11 to #3 - acheryus (03/25/2014) [-]
no sithis created the deadra and the aedra, he only has one counterpart his name is Anu.
Anu represents order(0 change) where as sithis is represented as chaos(100% change) Sithis created auri -el before the thought of time. Auri-el refused to be destroyed like all of Sithis' other creations and rebelled against him; so Sithis created the deara princes (15 of them , Malacath comes later and Sheogorath divides into to but at this point is still Jiggalag)to destroy the now 9 divines (Auri -el created them, talos is not one of these 9 but rather a aedra named Lorkhan, his heart is a majior plot point for the disappearance of the Dwemer). but instead of destroying the aedra the dearda also wanted to continue existing. The aedra then created Nirn each creating the portion that they are known for being the patron of, at this point the aedra are pretty weak and the deadra seeing this decide to creat their own worlds out of themselves to live in so as to not lose any power. Lorkhan defies Auri-el and the elves and humans are created. Lorkhan is then killed by the other aedra for defying Auri-el and his body is scattered to the corners of the earth.

Based off of a book written by a daedra in game, daedra, from princes even to the lowly scamps are basically immortal. Once you kill them like you probably have, they go back into the void of oblivion and eventually come back materialized again. Since they are immortal, they cannot fathom the meaning of death and somehow pity and dont understand the mortal beings of Nirn and comment how futile their lives are as their lives abruptly end as they die.

In other cases, a man wielding Daedric armor is a man of a million iron daggers.

Just started playing Morrowind for the first time with the graphical overhaul, bug fix, and balance mod. This game is damn beautiful ad awesome. Superior to Skyrim in my opinion, a much more original RPG

The top image, from left to right:
Peyrite, Malacath, Meridia, Hircine, Mehrunes Dagon, Vaermina, Hermaerus Mora (the Tentacle-Crab in back), Namira, Barbas (the dog) and Clavicus Vile, Azura, Mephala, Jyggalag, Sanguine, Molag Bal, Sheogorath, Boethiah, and Nocturnal.

I may have gotten a couple mixed up.

Actually, you've got them backwards. In Oblivion we see Dagon as a giant six armed, red skinned humanoid. Molag Bal however is depicted as a classical lizard-like demon.
