I really dont like Sam, he should've died long ago, he cant fight in any way(he can barely manage a sword) he's overweight, slow and he is not very clever either, but w/e comes across his path that forms a threat no matter how big or scary they are, he ends up killing it like it was nothing.

Meanwhile all these other character are dying left and righ one by one, and I'm not even talking about character that have some importance to the story(main characters).

You know how they say ''If you're not strong you have to be smart'' or the other way ofcourse, well.. he is netiher but still standing. It's unrealistic to the time and world in which they live in and looking at everything he's gone through.

Also his story with Gilly and the baby is just sooo boring jeez, they could have left his whole part out of the TV series and nobody would miss him and GoT would still be as good as it is, nothing would change. He's just plain boring. too boring tbh.

He isn't smart nor strong, but he has pure heart. I think Martin has put Sam into his brutal world to show that some good will always prevail, no matter the odds.

Actually he is smart, and he may not be good with a sword but he is determined.

Not smart? He's supposed to be a character foil of Jon Snow. Although Jon isn't stupid, Sam is smarter. They don't really show it as much in the show, but in the books, it was pretty obvious that Sam was smart.
