nah EA gets a login server for 10k people max and that it is matchmaking like COD but in MMO style. measn you get 10 people per server. cause that how ea thinks the best experience is gained from the game.
They are trying to change but they have thrown themselves into the deepest hole they can fine I don't even want to buy Battlefront because it had EA on it.
I hate Memelands for both their overreliance on pop culture and their DLC. Once your DLC totals more than the damn game, there's something wrong.
Next you'll get drones going "It's just cosmetics! You don't have to buy it!", there's always the "Upgrade Packs" giving you a literal advantage over those who don't have it and both the Psycho and Mechromancer pack.
There's still a sense of fair play when playing a co-op game. It doesn't stay fun when the other guy gets to run around with an assload of extra legendary gear and a better build (because of a higher level) that you're not getting because he spent some extra money on the game.
Then good on you, but the gameplay didn't interest me much beyond finding out how many enemy types there were. Once it turned into shooting at the same enemies with a different prefix and a different color with a the same gun with a different prefix and just higher stats, i got bored of it.
The preorder bonus is one week early access to content that is free for all, and it's dlc because they want to release it close to the movies launch to prevent spoilers
Actually with pre order you get some taunts(whatever they are called) and some stuff you can unlock in game anyway. You don't get anything that other people can't unlock. Not sure about those taunts/celebrations though.
There will be no microtransactions and that season pass is same **** as BF4. More maps. That's it really they aren't keeping anything gameplay wise out of the game and saving it for DLCs.
I'll believe it when I see it. EA is like that one ex who cheated on you. They tell you they've changed, and you've had so many fun times you have to believe them so you let them back into your heart and then bam Tara has some other dude's dick in her mouth again.
Use the extra time you have along with the hatred and need for revenge that you feel as fuel to get fit. Also learn how to look and act cool.
Fit=Popular among most cliques Popular=Trustworthy as well (For some reason.)
Tell everyone she has herpes, **** her best friend, frame he father for CP, and cut her boyfriends break cable.
Be her best friend through all of this and when she finally say's something along the lines of "You are the nicest guy I've ever met, I don't know why I gave you up" and leans in for a kiss, stop her and say "Your a great friend, but I don't think I could trust you again after you cheated so many times."
Walk out.
If she's alive the next morning keep being "Just Close Friends" with her for a while.
I mean Tara is a real person but she didn't cheat on me. It's a long complicated thing and that was just the name I decided to use for my joke. No biggie though.
It's good to be skeptical. At the same time, I feel like so many times we demand change from people and then refuse to give them any recognition when they do change. I mean, if they do it we should be willing to give them a healthy round of applause.
right
imagine something like a sequel to spore where each player gets their own planet and builds it up, joins alliances and goes to war or trade with others
They would have to revamp the whole game. Spore is so empty. The further you progress, the less there is to do. When you get into space there is nothing to do other than trade and terrafrom planets. Both of which do nothing for you except give you more resources that you can't use.
If they wanted to build off of that, they would have to completely revamp the game to add more features. They couldn't just make the game multiplayer. Then it would just be ****** space battles.
That's pretty much why I made two species with space goals in mind. One to befriend the Grox (those evil robot guys that own like half the galaxy), and then one to destroy them.
But yeah, I agree with you on what you said. I got the game and was so excited to play it. Cell mode was fun, Creature mode was amazing, Tribe and Civilization were interesting but kinda meh, and Space was fantastic for the first couple hours or so, until I realized that there was nothing to do. I understand they tried to go with a "no set goal, but infinite possibilities" deal like The Sims, but after getting every item, allying or destroying like 400 empires, and collecting millions of dollars with nothing to buy, Space mode was just kinda ruined for me.
But at least the creature creator is still as fun as it was back then.
I found the civilization stage the most fun. I also never figured out how to terrafrom a planet. I made a whole lot of money by simply traveling to planets, buying cheap **** , then selling it at another planet. I did that for an hour and realized that's all I would ever do.
The main attraction to that game is the customization. Creating your own creature was fun(even though I couldn't make anything too interesting). I had fun with creating vehicles and buildings.
Last time I played though, it was broken. If I had Galactic Adventures installed, there were absolutely no animations. Without animations I could not attack or do anything so I would just slide around the world. I'm not sure if it was a bug in the game or just a bad torrent. I'd like to play it again, but I don't want to give EA my money for producing such an empty game.
I see what you're saying but it wasn't online and you did have to register on EA's account. This one also seems to be set in the modern day as well....Like we need another one...
I loved this game, but towards the end it was one of those games I was just ready to beat and rushed it at the end. Great game but personally, it has no replay value.
Let's be clear: I hate EA as much as the next guy and absolutely love BioWare's games, but if we're going to blame EA for dicking with Mass Effect, put the blame where it belongs: on gameplay. ME1 was a great action RPG what with the different weapons, armours, mods, and squad management. ME2 did away with most of that and was left with only some half-assed base management crap (probe mining and purchasing upgrades in Mordin's lab). And let's not forget the Cerberus Network rubbish that was only accessible with a season pass. ME3 finally devolved into generic cover-based third-person shooter with barely any more features than Gears of War with multiplayer that was shoehorned in and not only felt out of place but also had a tangible effect on the single player. I highly doubt BioWare would have taken things in that direction without "urging" from EA to appeal to a wider audience.
See also: SWTOR - a mediocre MMO that is an embarrasment to its predecessors - KOTOR 1 and 2 - and brings no new concepts to the table and now has an absurdly restrictive free-to-play model designed to force players to either subscribe or drop a bunch of cash for an in-game currency that can only be purchased with real money.
The writing in BioWare's games is always their own creation and it's (usually) fantastic, EA just ***** up the gameplay and monetization.
The endings weren't even that bad anyway, and they make a whole lot more sense if you believe in the indoctrination theory: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ythY_GkEBck
SWTOR is actually fun as hell and I'm looking forward to the expansion on the 27th. Which is free to all subscribers. And they'll be making the previous expansion free to subs on the same day.
The gameplay for ME1 was crap (although the story was good, obviously). ME2 and 3 are some of the best RPGs I've ever played because they were ACTUALLY FUN TO PLAY and you didn't spend a 4th of the game managing items in your inventory, but kept a focus on story, character interactions and choice. Also, yes, EA DID **** up ME3. They rushed Bioware (like they've been doing since Dragon Age 2, same problem), and we got 4 mediocre endings (and that's WITH the DLC!) instead of the 12ish unique endings that we were promised. Literally 2 guys worked on the endings, the Project Director and Lead Writer. It is usually the entire team that works on things like that. This kind of crap is the reason that EA is one of the worst companies out there.
These ubisoft and EA circlerjerks are starting to become annoying.
partially because half the the circlejerk is on wrong information and personal bias.
A lot of people don't/won't buy EA stuff. sadly a lot of stupid people do cause they're buy anything EA shovels out of the ******* and on to the shelves.
There's only one game published by EA that I can say, without a doubt, was brilliant.
However, servers were shut down long ago. Praying for that group who are trying to restart the servers
