A university sent me one of these in an envelope, ******* thing almost took my eye out.

But there's always that one dickhole that yells out yes the nanosecond the professor asks, while everyone else that was actually paying attention is still processing and trying to mentally index the thousands of questions they have. Then when I get my question in order and raise my hand, the professor is looking back at the board and writing again, and it's just awkward, so I wait a few minutes then just defeatedly put it back down, trying to make it look like I was just stretching for a long time.

that dickhole doesnt speak for the rest of the class. U can always use the nanosecond after him to say that u dont understand.
#105 to #2 - soloman (12/03/2013) [-]
It's mostly a joke. I'm not actually upset at said dickhole, I just find it humorous that they seem to always do this without fail. Usually my question is very minor, and I just don't find it worth it to interrupt the professor again once they've moved on.

was gonna comment a retort...took one look at your profile and name. Really man, if you're gonna be a troll then a) don't make your name so obvious and b) block your profile so it's not so easy to confirm. The only thing worse then a troll is a pitiful one.
User avatar #68 to #66 - jbgotswag (12/03/2013) [-]
you can still see the levels if I block my profile. but I troll not for myself nor for the glory of pinkness, I troll for others to enjoy and laugh at the asstwats who are clearly retarded.

Then raise your ******* hand and be like "So, then, *blah blah blah*?" It'll give your professor a means to continue the particular lesson in a way everyone (including yourself) will understand. Everyone who doesn't understand it will love you, everyone who already understands it will be grateful that the professor is just going over something they already know (thus they can take a mental break), and so long as you don't do that **** right before the bell (because seriously, just stay after if that's the case), everyone who's just in a hurry to get the hell out of there shouldn't care.

Essentially, anyone who would get pissed at you for asking a question is a dumbass who's not worth you giving a **** what they think.
#50 to #32 - stratotastic (12/03/2013) [-]
I have spoken up and said no and I've had classmates who do the same, the teacher usually ends up saying "Well ask anon he'll help you" When in reality the other student doesn't have to time to teach me or others as they have their own **** to worry about.

You still should speak up but I understand why people don't it gets tiring hearing a teacher pawn their job on another student.

#28 to #7 - nthmetal (12/03/2013) [-]
If you're referring to the memes they used as cancer, then I tell you that you sir are ignorant. Here's why:
If someone didn't use memes they would have to draw 12 new faces that look obviously confused because when most people are confused they don't make completely obvious facial expressions and one character that inspires a sense of hate onto the reader with one glance because the faggot that said yes didn't wait for the rest of the class so naturally whoever made this was trying to make the reader hate this character . Easy? No. Use memes and get the point across easily.

Exactly why I'm glad I wont need another math class in college. Right now I'm in HS but will be going to college full time in the spring. I'm not taking a math this year (my senior year). I'm so glad I wont have a math in college.

major is AAS in criminal justice.
User avatar #40 to #14 - myfourthaccount ONLINE (12/03/2013) [-]
pretty sure most universities/colleges require that you take up to Calc II as gen ed requirements. Unless of course you have credit for AP Calc BC which I doubt since you are still in High School
#46 to #40 - tyroneisanigger (12/03/2013) [-]
You hear of a 2 year college?

No, it's not a certificate, it's an Associate's in Applied Sciences and that "Applied" word means I will only have the required classes for a Criminal Justice career path. That means that a math class isn't required.

So happy about that honestly.
User avatar #48 to #46 - myfourthaccount ONLINE (12/03/2013) [-]
Ahh ok, I have no experience in 2 year colleges.
But that's pretty awesome that you get the degree that quickly, mine needs 12 years for the undergrad, masters and doctorate, so you're lucky you get that little school time

User avatar #63 to #58 - myfourthaccount ONLINE (12/03/2013) [-]
well depe ds on what your goals are. If you just want to be a police officer you can make do with the associates and the 8 week academy and you'll get a pretty good job that way. If you're looking for higher positions than you might need to transfer

as, simple carneymaster... smart people prepares before the class and follows closely to the teacher, so me understand everything. If you fails to understand, then, you are not all that smart

So you could take and understand Quantum mechanics or Astrophysics and have no problems at all in the class? Not have a single question? You have never had to stop and ask the teacher later to re-explain something?

of course not, i am a smart person because i know my strengths and weakness. i'll never take a course, that i know that i will not do will nor will i choose a career path that i cannot follow.
besides, what other reasons could you have to RE-explain something, unless you are not paying attention. smart people always pay attention
