you can always google it , or better yet , do the maths for yourself.

an inch is approximately 2.5 cm

12 inches are 1 foot

The man is 8 foot 3 inches tall.

10 x 2.5 = 25
2 x 2.5 = 5

12 x 2.5 = 30

30 x 8 = 240

240 + ( 2.5 x 3 ) = 240 + 7.5 = 247.5 (rounded to 248)

The man is 2.48 Meters tall.
