Me to. I would put laser pointers right up to my eye, and just look at the pattern in the light. I found out my vision will come back so I did it a lot and now sometimes my vision is really ***** .

I'm surprised that no one with experience in photography commented on this one, seeing how there could be some on FJ.

In case you were serious about that comment, it is not as simple as that, even if we leave out that slowmo cams cost in the range of 10Ks to 100Ks $.

The other limitation to cameras and high-speed photography is bandwidth. in Professional photography, DSLR to be exact, we can easily assume a 20 MP camera. In high-speed photography, in which you need few consecutive photos, you don't have time to compress them, so you have to take them in RAW format. Note that pro photographers would be using RAW anyway, as JPEG will result in a lesser quality photos.

Raw means that for every pixel we need 3 bytes. For a 20 MP sensor the part of the camera that actually takes the photo; the "retina" of the camera, if you will. that translates to a 60 MBytes picture. That's ONE frame. It would take 29.3 GB to record for 5 seconds. That's ~47 Gbps. Do you know how many HDD and SSDs (Or RAM) to record for 5 seconds? Not to mention the power requirements.

Imagine having a studio that you have to take out with you there every time. In addition to being able to point the camera exactly at the location were the bird would dive.

Now, it is still feasible and might be less hectic than shooting for 6 years. Only problem with the specs mentioned, even though there are cameras www.highspeedcameras.com/Products/Ultrahigh-Speed-Cameras/v2512 capable of 25 Gpx/s, which is just enough to do 20 MP @1K FPS, the available sensor is only 1 MP sensor, vs 20 MP for pro photography.

Tl;dr. It is theoretically possible, could have been hectic either ways, but there's no current product that can do it.

The way I see it, people always donate used shirts/pants when they get kinda messed up. Socks however are usually worn till they are thrown out. so basically only new socks get donated.. and that's far less often than used goods

Personally, I buy socks in bulk occasionally if they are on sale in a local super market and then proceed to donate over 80% of them to charity.

Yeah, but food and drink are the biggest thing that we have an abundance of and we throw them away, when they could be (and probably are, in some places) used to feed the homeless with the leftovers people and super markets throw into the trash. That's probably why food and water is the most donated, since we have an excess abundance of it, and around 1 3rd of it goes to waste.

"This effect is amplified during a solar eclipse" what ******* nonsense.
The damaging effect of looking directly at a solar eclipse exists for a completely different reason:
The overall amount of light reaching the eye is much smaller, causing your pupils to dilate. The light intensity of the solar corona isn't lowered though, causing more light to hit a smaller area. Another issue is when the total eclipse is over, a part of the sun starts showing again (duh) which will be extremely dangerous if you're looking directly at it with your now dilated pupils.

The "effect" of the sun stays the ******* same. The damage effect it causes on the shrunken pupil is amplified.

If you're going be a smartass, at least be more specific. Yes, the damage effect gets amplified. But the burning effect of the sun does not.

"That's a lie. Someone came up with that lie because they were trafficking drugs inside the prison and we ruined their business. We do not respond to lies," Solórzano said, before abruptly ending the call.

its true and its basically every prison every week all the time. Inmates have almost complete control inside the prison they do whatever they want they bring drugs prostitutes guns grenades you name it, the goverment really doesnt give a **** and lets it happen.
And el conejo scaped prison, when he was there he owned the entire block the prison is in and he would come and go whenever he like it.

Fires biggest contribution to brain growth is the fact that it likely encouraged consumption of meat, which was made more appetizing through cooking it on said fire. This allowed humans to move from a primarily vegetation diet to one that includes much more protein.
