did you know?
When Phoebe the basset hound got lost
and fell into a cistern, her best friend
Tillie stayed with her for nearly a week.
Tillie only left her side to find help,
which finally came after someone
reported that a 'reddish' dog
kept coming up to them then
running back to the ravine.

Sorta have to agree with anon most of these "did you know" are just pointless

"Did you know: Some dad had a good moment with his kid"

"Did you know: in florida a man had a wild weekend"

I mean sure, yeah they're funny/cute stories but those ones aren't really facts or anything in contrast to what did you know else is i mean. Just look at this comp as an example. A lot of facts and ohh heres a little cute story.

A 5lb bass is a great fish depending on the type of bass. It's impressive she caught it with **** equipment.

What consequences would bringing life to another planet really have on us.
User avatar #9 to #7 - nibbero (10/17/2015) [-]
Ever heard of invasive species?
User avatar #12 to #9 - ChuckNorrisVsMRT (10/17/2015) [-]
Yes but whats the effective consequences of bringing an invasive species to another planet. I can't imagine why you felt the need to restate the comment made directly before you.

It could **** up existing life, and or develop into new life that could **** us up.

>Develope into new life that could **** us up
>literally no living thing on earth ***** with us, you think because we brought it to a place where it probably can't survive, for some reason it's going to turn into a scifi movie and become some crazy bacteria that rapes us or something.

Existing life that we don't know is there, progress requires risks, if we handle it carefully as everything of this nature should be then it should be well worth the risk.

Someone doesn't know their ecology.
It's the same as with what's happening on Earth.
Sure, we've destroyed most unique species and continue to do so, but it's not how it should be. The same handful of species should not cover the entire planet.
If you're not bothered about living in an interesting or diverse planet then no, it wouldn't affect you, but some of us care and would like to keep our diverse ecosystems. Or what's left of them.

If there is life on Mars it would be interesting and educational to see how it develops without our contamination or interference.

Scientific reasons, if its found to have no life it probably wouldn't matter but for now they have no idea and want to make sure if has life in it, they can study it to better understand the universe and the way life forms.

So first one. Did the dog break their leg or something? I've seen dogs jump up higher ledges than that.
User avatar #6 to #5 - nyxeos (10/17/2015) [-]
Well it's obviously over weight, and it's a basset hound to start with, which means very short legs. I'm not surprised it couldn't get out.

How come the police never cleared the Dr's **** out?
User avatar #20 to #16 - thesovereigngrave (10/17/2015) [-]
Perhaps it was inherited by a relative who decided to just leave it there or something.

**anonymous used "*roll picture*"**
**anonymous rolled image** could be the other way around

Our current rovers on Mars aren't allowed to go near water, but that's because they weren't decontaminated enough before leaving. Decontaminating a rover to the required levels is a costly procedure.

Avery crushes huge bass on barbie pole!
Here's the sauce on the girl catching the bass.
It's entirely too cute to not watch.

remember radiation?

yeah, its not that big of a deal, except for when we're going to mars, we just barely survived going to the moon because it was a tight gap of time in which the sun didnt radiate as much
