Guys, 4D ultrasound is simply the name given to videos of 3D ultrasound

Doesn't matter, it's wrong.

I'm sorry, I thought the 4th dimension was damn near incomprehensible to us. **** , tesseracts aren't even too accurate if I remember correctly. I only know the **** off this video, so if sciencexplain or someone could help, that'd be nice

Ten Dimensions Explained
User avatar #43 to #12 - Kasura (10/08/2015) [-]
The forth dimension in this case is time. Scanners that show an actual live feed rather than still images are refereed to as being "4D"

It's not literal

Film is 2d over time
User avatar #29 to #28 - theruinedsage (10/08/2015) [-]
which also does not make it 3d.

Explain further

It's not actual tech and more just the term given for the application. Ultrasound is available in several options, 2D, which you know from literally every family coedy ever, it's the blurry pic. 3D ultrasound is what you see in the pic for this fact. When talking about 4D it is simply the name given for moving 3D ultrasound - basically ultrasound movies are called 4D
