You make money from vines, when people steal your vine and re-upload it themselves they are stealing your content, stealing your views and stealing your money.
I honestly didn't know this, If people are genuinely stealing his video for $ then he could pull the whole copyright thing since they're using his footage (basic youtube terms, Not sure if vines work under the same 'rights')
But if he's complaining that people are reposting his video in places rather than watching it on his channel for his shekels then he's kinda a jew.
Actually it's not that easy. Every YouTube video you see that's not on YouTube in any shape or form. Is stolen intellectual property. You're giving away something they use to make money off ad revenue.
That all depends if they actually WANT ad revenue and for that you'll have to pass a lot of guidelines on youtube to even get cash.
No copyright music, at all. even in the background of a passing car.
No copyright footage for more than..i think it's 11 seconds?
So there's A LOT of youtube videos that people arn't actually "Stealing" because they arn't profiting off them, That'd be like making art on deviantart then complaining when someone put it on a few blogs.
While i understand the vine is his property for ad revenue n **** , It's the whole "Copyright" issue that began with **** like piratebay. Just because something is getting around =/= You are not making money, Because more than likely a vast majority will go to the original to rewatch it or what ever, expand the business and so on.
If people are taking his videos and making money off them, he can demand (i am sure) for them to be taken down as the original property owner. If they arn't marketing off it, What the hell is he going to do? That's just how **** works as a business.
yeah but as several youtube videos on the subject by people with personal experience explain, especially sites like facebook are extremely difficult and slow to work with because while its up they are making money themselves so it can take up to several weeks which when you're talking about a vine is essentially it's whole life
