so i plan on starting up ds2 again any builds/playstyles would be fun and a bit challenging and for console capture and editing what would be good to use to edit and capture? thanks in advanced
ya run with shadow set maybe or something like the manikin set. if you are on PC i would recommend the original Manikin mask mod. the original was sick but they ******* ruined it
Most people think hexing is the easiest build and has a bit of the carrier syndrome from starcraft, all you need to do is cast a bunch, and they need to get to you while dodging every spell and aoe you spamm at them in order to kill you The metaphor is that Carriers spawned mini fighters that distracted the target, you just had to click, they had to micro
People can and will flame you for ANY build you do, they have strong points that are "op" as long as you don't play it yourself, because that's the balanced one.
But a strength or dex/strength are usually the most fun Personally love dex/faith, but that's a little frowned upon, fun **** though , casting has less game play, and more rooty tooty point and shooty.
To start a build, just pick the starting class that has the highest base stats in the areas you want and just level those areas as you collect souls Stamina and health and other quality of life stats as well of course
this is first time playing in about a year. what is considered light armor and where can i get some good sword based on dex? how does the scaling work again
You'll see >pic related on every sword, the stronk man arm is strength, the hand is Dex. The higher the number is the larger the scaling is, high numbers are good. This example was taken from a dex sword hence the S tier dex scaling
You can upgrade weapons, and some increase their scaling tier at certain levels, along with their other stats.
Scaling has soft caps, 0-100 dex 100 is REALLY high regardless would add a piss load more damage compared to 100-200
The blacksmith at the beginning of the game sells the falchion, decent dex sword
Light armor is TECHNICALLY when the total weight is under 15 excuse me if I'm wrong but it's not like skyrim where you got skills for that **** , just roll whatever armor you got that has a good balance of protection fashion and defense fashion Really one you're decent at the game you just go for fashion souls
Almost all, unless you have 1. no dodge chance, or SUPER SUPER low. 2. a shield usually pretty hefty that has a high elemental resist and you're trying to cheese a boss with it 3. you have some tanky ass build and you aford to carry a giant ass shield around, and at best that's meh in pve.
Either or. Probly pc when I build it. I'm used to console since any pc I've owned has been too ***** to play any decent games. But since my last one died, it's more worth it to get a kick ass pc than buy another console to get any of the newer games.
