I don't remember where. I had a lazy day and did nothing but Netflix and FJ and drink. I saw it a few times, but it's usually on the top comment in a top content.

glasshouses have transparent roofs to let the sun in. If you're going to put a lightshow inside a structure usually you just think of adding light, not blocking it.

Hanlon's razor, they just added all the lights and then one night when the fog rolled in this happened.
User avatar #57 to #42 - ikweetnietmeer (11/16/2015) [-]
Yeah, most of our glashouses dont have roofs on them, the sky is orange here all the time as soon as it starts getting colder.

User avatar #34 to #22 - albeit (11/16/2015) [-]
It already has a roof, they provided lighting for a glass greenhouse, which means the roof was glass also, but they forgot to cover it so the light wouldn't shine out.

Well as shown in the picture they aren't bright enough to burn his eyes out, though have you ever flicked on full-beam car lights in a fog?

With the light shinnig through a glass cieling, and then being amplified by a fog overhead, you get this stunning effect through the sky. It helps that we also see red quite vividly compared to any other colour.
#23 to #14 - noonelikesdan ONLINE (11/16/2015) [-]
I thought we seen green more vividly, hence why green is used in NVG's
User avatar #24 to #23 - cursedjester (11/16/2015) [-]
Oh, yes, my mistake!
I was trying to imply that we see red "first" as in, we're more attacted to it. Didn't meant to add that part on the end.

It helps that we also see red quite vividly compared to any other colour.

The more we block out our view of space the more we become closed minded of our place in the universe...

Blue light affects the growth of platns, red lighs afects maturing. The whole point of LEDs is that they don't produce heat, so the won't burn the plants if they are too close. But to get to the pooint : Those lamps are too fu*cking high to be effective!
User avatar #8 to #5 - ledd (11/16/2015) [-]
Maybe if they make a light show visible from 50 km away, they are not too high
