I think that too. My cinematography teacher actually hates the zoom. He says "the human eye can't zoom ok? If you want to get your subject close, ******* walk"
Has he deluded himself into thinking he's in every scene ever recorded?
I suppose he also hates cameras in high places? Seriously, his hate makes no sense to me. He has 1 rationality behind it, but he literally only uses it for that one instance, so he suddenly becomes a hypocrite when it comes to any other part of filming.
oh no! someone was expressing their liking without using the proper label! Better correct them and put them down to show them how intelligent I am! - You 2015
I don't know about that. It feels too jerky and distracting (really brakes immersion). It's basically only really good for B tier dramas and comedies. In anything that you are supposed to take seriously, It would just look way too fake. Its good at accentuating things, but should not be used on important emotional hooks.
I love it when its used to introduce a character in a pulpy fun film like Django. Especially when they do the freeze frame with a backdrop popping in, with the characters name sliding in.
I can relate so much. All the soap operas in Thailand is basically the same. Family feud takes a dramatic turn -> pretty girl screams, and everyone else goese "OY. OY. OY." ->close up of someone making a monologue about what evil things they are gonna do next episode and cut
XD XD i read this and immediately thought about this show my mum watches and the camera zooms on this guy's face 8 or 9 times to show that he's startled or some **** .
seriously our shows are ******* garbage. most movies too (few movies are good but the shows are just..
I loved the show, but... Once Simon and Alisha died I was done. Simon was my favorite. I actually don't know if the show has any more episodes after that since the chick who played Kelly was arrested and put in jail for something
But Joffrey was very easy to hate. He thought he was in the right all the time. He was so entitled etc etc.
Ramsay is just a nutter. He knows full well what he's doing and likes it, he doesn't try to hide it. Which is why he's harder, at least in my opinion to dislike.
Dark haired guy Tortured the other guy, cut off his dick, and psychology abused him so much that he became a submissive servant who is always afraid and doesn't even answer to his real name
The guy has his own agenda though. Robb Stark, Tyrion, Tywin, Arya, Littlefinger, Drogo, The Hound, Ned Stark, Jon Snow, and Even Dany have killed someone or comitted atrocities in the eyes of their enemies etc to further their own agenda.
Ramsay is a little bit off the rails but he's not trying to justify what he's doing, he just is. Plus when it started I kinda thought Theon deserved it, so I let it roll until I realized he woulda done it whether he betrayed the Starks or not.
Ramsay is shaping up to be one of those people that tries to rule through fear but he's not doing it in a very smart way. Breaking Theon was easy, Theon isnt a northerner nor a stark, if he was smart he would not be doing what he is doing
Well Cersei and Joffrey were powerful and had allies. The Boltons are ruling over a bunch of Houses that by this point would leap at the chance to kill them all. And they have no allies really. The Freys? Everyone hates them too. The Lannisters? Not many of them left who'd care too much.
Plus, Joffrey is now dead and I'm pretty sure Cersei's going to get what's coming to them.
It's weird.
I litteraly finished watching season 2 20 minutes ago, and only now am I noticing the amount of GoT content on this site.
10/10 show so far.
