So this BitCoin thing.
As i think it was to make your PC a botnet/gateway?
Pretty much a volunteer botnet/gateway expander.?(data moving through your PC.Possibly for anything illegal to be passed around as data bits)
Never really got what the "mining" was,or how did it really work...or what is it's actual purpose..
