How strong is the character from Terraria?
We don't have gold in pure cubic form to prove it (ore is unpure), but we do have pure obsidian.
Obsidian has density of 2400 kg per cubic meter, which is about eight times less dense than gold.
One block is 60 cm wide and 60 cm tall, which means that one block is 0,36 cubic meter which is 864 KG
Our character can carry 50 stack of 999 obsidian, Obsidian skull (20 blocks) Obsidian Shield (20 blocks) Obsidian Horseshoe (20 blocks) Ankh's Shield (20 blocks) and one of Horseshoe Balloons (20 blocks), we can carry five more of those in vanity slots.
This brings up total of 49950 blocks + 200 blocks from accesories. But wait, there is more, we can wear Molten Armour, which to make we use 45 hellstone bars, one hellstone bar needs one obsidian and three hellstone ore to make (we are not gonna count hellstone because it's fictional material) so we add 45 to that and 45 from vanity slot. But wait, we can carry 999 more on the mouse.
BUT WAIT!
We can craft Obsidian Bricks with it, Obsidian bricks are made from two obsidian, which doubles our blocks (except those in armour and accesories)

The grand total is: 102188 blocks, this times mass of a single block is grand total of:
88,29 milion kg
Which is roughly twice as much as Steve can carry.

An enchanted gold apple is 1 apple surrounded by 8 gold block so 1 is ~17,152 x64 == 1,097,728 * 36 = 39,518,208. but since minecraft cart chest hold their inventory when broken so. 39,518,208 *36 = 1,422,655,488. but since the process can be repeated infinity (putting a full mincecart chest inside a full -1 slot minecart chest) steve can hold a infinite # of golden apples.

You can make a thing called Throne which is 30 golden bars or 10 blocks.
Thrones stack to 99, now that's 990 blocks.
