The only sword character that really doesn't have any significant differences is Lucina when compared to Marth. Beyond that, you're just looking for things to complain about, or are upset that Fire Emblem has a butt load of characters when you wish there were other characters instead.
That's almost a justified reason to be as negative as you are being, but only almost.

Don't think I implied either just now.
Bayonetta might not have gotten in without the ballot, but I'm not convinced a bunch more characters didn't get higher than her, but were denied entry because Nintendo didn't want to bother with rights they didn't already own, which wouldn't be a problem if they didn't say any video game character was possible.
I'm also not convinced that's not why they ended the DLC as underwhelmingly and briefly as they did.

It's like if the final generation of Pokemon games only had ten new pokemon. And two were just forms. And three others were evolutions. And one was a baby pokemon.

They should have gone with Lab Zero's thing where they made the DLC characters for free if you owned the game before the characters were released
