It felt it was the right decision to give Boone my shiny new suppressed sniper rifle to replace his old ****** one, and boy did he work wonders at the Second Battle of Hoover Dam.
I always give my best **** to them. I'm used to the AI getting my followers killed
I give them weak weapons and good looking armour
like a .357 revolver, weak, slow to reload, and ammo I don't need
that way they won't just run around and kill everything on their own
that way I can actually still enjoy the game
like
I set the game companions to meelee so Boone doesn't kill everything within a 5 mile radious with his rifle
the main reason Clover is my favourite, is because she has no armour and a sawn-off shotgun, you have to actually equip her yourself, and I love it

Got annoying rather fast. Also I'm a necromancy fanatic.
Well my vamp is also necromancer herself, but I guess it's just our own preference
Yup. Wrathmen are tankier too, while the dremora lord got more dmg with the fire enchantment on their weapon. Again, it's preference.
Definitely it's preference , well Wrathmen are only tankier I presume if you give them the Dark Souls perk. Well , I was the other way around, the generic skeleton sound they make got very annoying but before that I did enjoy using these barbaric and undead bastards, at my early experience with them,I was like SUK IT MY ****** DEAD THRALLS and hello legit looking warrior of the undead!!!
Wrathmen got 800 health by default (900 with Dark Souls perk), while the Dremora lord got 345.
Thanks to smithing I would give my followers a set of the armor I was using, then when I got enough to buy the parts for my own upgrade I would sell my old set and then upgrade theirs when I could.
My warrior character mainly to carry my **** . My archer has enough endurance to carry something like 700lbs if I remember correctly.
Oh I see, well as for me, when I have too much in my apparel, I just sell stuff. Plus I can go warrior mode and wear my heavy armor to lessen my carry weight Conditioning perk yo
Yeah, but I still couldn't put as many levels in endurance and had to instead put a lot in health to be properly tanky. God damn though, I love the warrior character thanks to shield charging. It's so OP thanks to enemies dying from sliding downhill while ragdolled.
Oh i see, I was never into shield though, I'm more of a dual wielder when I go warrior Dual wield+slowtime OP
I don't know man, you should try it. I went 1hand + heavy armor + block + smithing + archery (for those pesky dragons out of range of my melee) as my main skills and it was just stupid easy to kill **** . Enchant your shield with 50% reduction of frost and fire then have the perk that blocks 50% of elemental damage, then enchant a ring to increase 1 hand and block 50% lightning (I'm pretty sure rings can) and you're ******* set against all mages, and your health and heavy armor are more than enough to stop any physical attacks.
Idk man, but with my tactic I was able to slay a lot of foes already Karstaag, Ebony Warrior , Revered/Legendary dragon on legendary and of course , I smith and enchant both my armor and weapons . Sure I may try to open up shield and sword BUT in a different account I think mg Vampire lord Saigan needs a break and be with her new adopted kids
Oh yeah, most builds are going to end up phenomenal end game, I haven't tried dual wield too much, but I'll probably do it for my next playthrough. I figured I'd let you know about the ridiculous tanky build if you wanted a slower to kill, never take damage build. Especially against magic. Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure my build was just a mage-slayer.
sorry I've mistaken mage slayer as a magic user for a long time, my bad, but yeah I think the best way to kill a mage is to sneak kill it whether assassin strike it with a dagger or shoot a bow.
My vamp used to go destruction spells too had so much fun in lightning storm But I then transferred all the perks to Illusion since I find it more fun in my opinion to see my opponents kill each other / get all nice and hospitable/ run away in fear when being chased by dremora lords. Plus destruction does not seem to be as destructive and overpowered at higher difficulties, well based on my experience
ONLINE (08/07/2015) [-] i don't even have any followers
