I know i am "smarter" than my boss, he has an IQ of around 90, where as i have an IQ of 148, yet i know for a fact that man is smarter than i am simply because he is much wiser than i am.

Knowledge is power but is meaningless without the wisdom to use it.

Apparently I'm what people call "indigo." I remember things by associating feeling with them, not visuals. I have dreams about places that I will not visit or even hear of until years after.

I've always found it sad that I will never be able to complete high school or college, at least without great difficulty. I'm often too busy thinking to do anything academically.

I play music. I strive to be able to use it to invoke the same level of thought that I have in other people. I like to use music to vocalize the meaning of feelings.

I use music to let people be happy when I cannot. What do you do?

I sit on the internet fulfilling my own personal thirst for knowledge, i came to the conclusion that people are beyond helping years ago, not only that they are not worth helping.

I tried as a small child to stop people bullying others. Those bullies turned around and lashed at me, and over a few years drove me to clinical insanity. It was only my mother that kept me from being institutionalized. I later recovered, but to this day people still despise me and don't know why.

I recovered because when I discovered music, the people there were kind to me. They helped; they wanted me to be okay. These people were the best of people. They showed me happiness for the first time in a long time.

Some people are beyond helping, but take it from me, some are just a little lost.

There have been people with higher iq. I never claimed to have disproved general relativity or confirmed Gravitons. I think you're mistaking iq for intelligence.

The way I see it, wisdom is life experience and life experience is just knowledge. Knowledgeability doesn't exactly make you smart.
In what ways do you mean he's smarter than you simply because he's older?

Yeah, so he's more knowledgeable, but if the difference in IQ you mentioned is correct, that means you're more intelligent (depending on what kind of tests you took and how encompassing they were).
Hell, my grandma can tell you almost everything there is to know about my local and national history, since she used to be a teacher and has lived a long life, but it's pretty easy to tell that she's not very intelligent.

Why?
IQ if anything is a measure of your ability to learn, not how smart you actually are.
Lower IQ plus more than double the time you have had logically equals smarter than you are.

Let us say you are 20 with an IQ of 150, logically speaking someone with an IQ of 75 who is 40 should be as "smart" as you are in comparison, it does not matter if that intelligence is focoused in other areas than you know it is still intelligence.

Proving that you're able to analyze and recognize different complicated patterns as well as showing your brain's capabilities in other ways, as tested by more extensive IQ tests, does give a rather solid picture of how intelligent you are. It's not a coincidence that famous scientists and such are known to have very high IQ's.
Yes, IQ does partially tell you how easy it is for you to learn, but again, learning things is not the same as intelligence. Critical analysis and the ability to draw rational conclusions to what you learn, for example, is treated by your intelligence.
What makes you think IQ and age work like that? And I still don't understand what you mean by being older makes you smarter.

I don't really think you can measure intelligence, it's just too broad a term. Not just saying because I and my 131 IQ feel inferior to yours
Tho, as you said, wisdom is power only if you have the intellect to put it to use.
Same goes for charisma.

So when I was a teenager my Mom had our dog, Scooter certified as a therapy dog. We would go to the nursing home and visit the 102 year old mother of my Mom's boss, who was so old she never knew who anyone was, but would always remember Scooter.

We took Scooter around the nursing home sometimes to visit other people. There was this one time we went into a room and there was this lady sitting on the bed in a shirt but no pants or underwear. We tried to leave, but she demanded to pet Scooter. So that was an awkward elderly moment.

Wisdom is not intelligence. Intelligence gets you out of problems, while wisdom keeps you out of the problems. That's why you respect elders, because they've got some fascinating stories, and they can help save you a lot of trouble if you listen to what they have to say.

I have no assumed respect for anyone, old or not. I assume everyone is a dumbass until they show some evidence to the contrary. It's actually a quite cheerful outlook on life; I'm usually right, but when I'm not, I'm pleasantly surprised.
