Probably because of the deep seated trust issues that stem from my early childhood when my father walked out on my mother, leaving her an emotionally deranged sociopath, who's default emotional settings were angry tirade, passive aggressive onslaught, and sarcastic berating; and who ultimately transformed into a volatile emotional cocktail with little regard for the mental and physical wellbeing of her child and opted to use blackmail in the form of conditional affection to get her way in almost every aspect of my life. All this resulting in me having a deeply engrained neurotic tendency to assume that all acts of kindness/selflessness are too good to be true and must have a hidden sine qua non.

Either that or because I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to human interaction.

I dunno, either way I'm probably gonna die alone and in a sad kind of way I'd prefer to go like that, with as little impact on the world as possible , lol.

Hey man, that was really ******* deep and shows a LOT of positive sides to you that you should be happy about.

I mean for starters, you lived through that horrible ******* childhood. Also, you are very aware of all the problems that occurred in the lives of people around you, and you don't seem to be totally ****** up from all of this, and actually seem to be a fairly functional human being.

I have been through a ****** up life myself, and currently am dealing with heartbreak from a woman who literally saved my life, so I know how you feel.

I feel the same man, like I'm going to die old and alone & never know the feeling of true love & such, and it sucks, I think about it daily.
