Neither is theirs, technically. The site doesn't splice it all together as an image. The person cropping the final image for stealing uploading does that.

it's directly attached to the image because the person posting it CHOSE to have it attached to the image instead of cropping it out, which is why we're complaining about it being included because it doesn't need to be. It adds NOTHING.

Like I said, our "cancer" is just supporting, in the same way we give thumbs, theirs is just annoying to see. At least ours generally has a reaction image that is also funny to see, where it could add something, theirs adds nothing. Do you understand now?

Because I'm jaded on a thousand John Cenas, pepes, and god knows whatever else is spammed throughout this site. It's just no different aside from the source material itself. Yes, at face value "Omg one of them has a picture, **** you!" but in reality, it's the same sentiment, and the same annoying, pointless nonsensical "noise". If you have nothing important to say, it gets pretty old that your only response is "le funny may may! thumbs nao pleeeeze" in the same way you folks complain about the whole "I can't breath hurr hurr original response!" from tumblr. It's all **** , but you sift through it. That's all.

....I don't figure I'm different from them. I'm one of them. One of those scary scary people with an opinion different than " **** tumblr, gimme thumbs." I respect that tumblr is a large source of artwork and culture. I also respect that it has a dark horrible corner that gives it a bad name. Just like I respect funnyjunk for its' ability to make me laugh and feel better about my day, but it too has an ugly, dark corner. Want to know why? I have an account on both sites. And shockingly I'm not a bad person. That's all I'm trying to point out. I'm not better than others who have made my same argument, I'm arguably more agreeable than the ones who just shut out other things like children, but gladly take their proverbial table scraps. That's all.

Dude, no one is saying one site is better than the other, one has more or less cancer than the other or anything like that. This is a conversation of "is talking liKE THIS CANCER". The answer is yes. You gave 4 examples of stuff you think is cancer, only one maybe two of those are cancer. Not everyone is out to get tumblr, like you may think.

i didnt find his death all that heart breaking. he wasnt really relatable since he had no real faults to speak of. and who just runs into a burning building? not dramatic and forgetful. Hiro's dealing and coping with his brother's death was pretty spot on though. it played a much heavier roll in the movie than most aftermaths of death.

I thought it was surprising because I didn't think Disney would show someone die in an explosion. He was likeable as a character, and through the protagonist's eyes, a role model.

And not just his death, but seeing Hiro's reaction to his death which was so serious and sad (I can't say whether it was realistic or not, idk), it was surprising how dark Disney got. Not wearing other people's faces dark, but as for Disney standards, super serious.

For some reason most death scenes never get to me. Maybe it's because I know all the cliches and see them coming a mile away.

"I'm always gonna be there for you."
Yeah, he's gonna die.

He dead.

He's doomed.

The last death that caught me off guard was when they shot the wolf at the end of Dances With Wolves. One of the two times a movie made me tear up.

i assume its along the lines of setting this model to do this pose, then animate a pose for breathing, then he is using the pose that animates his chest to breathe while you animate the rest of him, but since you've set in however you want your physics to be then that means the rest of his animations react to the breathing

im just implying its not drawn frame by frame like they have to make him breathe every single picture. im not saying its hard, i'm just saying its not frame-by-frame hard

Unless a character is designed with auto breathing controls (which actually cause more problems than they're worth), it's like you said, setting poses here and there. It's not just setting and forgetting, but if you know what you're doing, it isn't hard to integrate it in your shot.

The thing that amazes people (and I don't get why) is that when someone stands still, they're always moving and motions like breathing and weight shifting is more noticeable. You never. Ever. EVER. Leave a character completely still. An animator wants you to believe the shot is real. And real people breathe, simple as that.

So yeah

I wasn't really affected by Tadashi's death. Sure, he was nice and all and seemed like a great brother but....I just didn't connect with him. When he died, all my friends watching were like "OH GOD NO! WHYYYYYY?!" Meanwhile I just sat there like "Oh he's dead. Shame." I dunno, he seemed too perfect to be a real character to me, but I gotta say they did a pretty job with Hiro dealing with grief in the later parts of the movie. That was at least spot on.

Reminded me of the animation in the Minion movie. When the minions were running from the bee on the chandelier to screw it back upwards, the threaded parts had a distinctive shudder and it perfectly imitated the strain placed on a heavy threaded-object being tightened.

The animation in that part really impressed me for some reason.
