hm...

He makes logical sense on this instance, yes. But America has this thing where if we do a thing once, then it's ok forever.

I'm just wondering about the political ramifications of a future where the middle class doesn't exist anymore and the police don't feel the need to help innocent members of the lower class.

Classes can't just stop existing as long as their is a system of wealth or power, which is always.

Class isn't a system that some people created or designed, it's something that always exists because certain people exist. As long as there are poor people, there will be lower class. As long as there are rich and powerful, there will be upperclass.

The only way you might be able to get out of that, is if everyone had the exact same amount of money and power. Then there would be 2 different classes. Government class, and civilian class. People need to get over classes, they're just representative of a person's financial situation, it doesn't DO anything.

You wont be holding that opinion once the middle class is successfully eradicated and you aren't apart of the preferred of your 2 beloved classes.

You won't be saying that you want to be a healthy weight when they eradicate healthy weights altogether. You'll either be skinny or fat.

You can't eradicate a measurement.

You realize the two are incomparable, right? States like this do exist within societies currently, and in the past. Dictatorships are a great example of this. The west is slowly heading towards a large pay gap, in which you are either in poverty, or you're filthy rich. The inbetweens start to disappear for some reason.

I never argued that classes shouldn't exist...
