**** , we only need Chine and we'll have ourselves a complete set of UN Security Council perms. As a political science graduate, I find that amusing.

how many years have u.s.a army been in middle-east trying to get complete control with superior firepower, tanks, choppers, drones and still haven't done a damn thing? 3 years? 5 years?

forcing other countries to show support and send troops from all over the europe to help them out too. This terrorist attack in France looks like a wake-up call and all the hippies like facebook groups and retweet #PrayForParis - wtf is praying doing? Wtf is the military doing? The problem is that the terrorists are disguised as civilians, there his no big bad root they can just pull out or throw a big bomb at ISIS hq to save the day.

Ask Russians OR the Chinese to do the job. Knowing that China is more brutal (for example if they have hostage situation they just shoot the kidnapper in the head and resume with life) they'll probably torture the **** out of terrorists until they recieve info and get them all, something western countries can't do due to too strong morals.

The real issue is we are fighting a belief. A belief cannot be defeated, no matter how many people we kill there will always be someone to step up into the spot we open. I say screw it let ISIS have the middle east. There ain't **** there anyway.

Let's be real here, guys. Nothing's gonna change. Sure, maybe fly over and drop some bombs, but it'll all keep happening. All of the liberal western world won't put boots on the ground to actually do something, so nothing will change.

Apparently, Russia's sending 150,000 freshly-conscripted reservists.

I wonder if anyone has considered that maybe putting troops on the ground is exactly what ISIS would want us to do.

Not so much in any new, meaningful way. The last one of those was 9/11.

The Western populations will have a renewed lack of trust in Muslims for a probable 9-20 months. The Western Governments will continue as they do. Having their proxy wars, air strikes and special forces operating and training locals. At this point, all that changes are the names of these otherwise unheard of sand buckets and the names of the stereotype producing groups who all talk alot and say the same thing, and all want the die the same.

The sad part is that they don't even realize they're not actual threats. Threats on any actual nation, race, religion or otherwise in any meaningful way. All of these Jihadists are the equivalent of the Barbarians in the modern age of Civ 5. They're only relevant because the area in which they inhabit happens to be the region of the world with the largest collections of the most valuable irreplaceable natural resource. Oil. When technology moves past that, interest in the area will heavily drop, and that will likely include for Israel as well.

Why do you think Warlords in Africa get nearly no attention? They ain't got nothing valuable.

The more things 'change', the more they stay the same with that Geo-political ******** .

Except ISIS won already, they have proven their power inspiring sunni muslims to join them. They have created a bigger amount of people who hate's muslims - meaning that more muslims might feel out and wants to join ISIS because "they were right all along"
