in one comic deadpool was talking to cable and cable asked why he didnt change the way he looked deadpool replies "hey if you looked like ryan reynolds crossed with a shar-pei youd understand. probably had somethin to do with it
**slobiscuit used "*roll picture*"** **slobiscuit rolled image**did you by any chance see daredevil or green latern or the clip in xmen origins? just pl0x man hes not the right guy to play Deadpool. just no.
Except he is? It fits him a thousands times better than Green Lantern or whatever he was in Origins. He's not meant to play a serious role like green lantern, and the Origins Deadpool was absolutely **** . At least in this one he gets to play Deadpool correctly and with his comedic acting skills, it'll fit him even better.
Ryan Reynolds and Ben Afflick are not responisble for those horrible movies. It was bad scripting and the stupid idea of using a full animated suit for GL. I personally liked the Wade Wilson from Origins but they ****** him up by making Barakapool
true, but then again some people are just not right to play certain roles. for me Ryan is a guy who shouldnt play Deadpool. the same deal, that the Joker **** is going on right now.
I just feel someone else would better represent Deadpool. Like when you think of deadpool you dont think oh Ryan can play that guy.
I do think that though. I cant think of a better live action deadpool than Ryan Reynolds since hes got the sass and attitude. i keep seeing you say that other people could play a better deadpool but i dont see you naming off people
**slobiscuit used "*roll picture*"** **slobiscuit rolled image**All Im saying is that Ryan isnt the one who should play Deadpolo... Im just saying someone else should do the part. I DONT know who, but that doesnt make me wrong. Its the same thing with The Suicide squad. That guy shouldnt play the Joker or at the very least could have his own approach to him.
I dunno, someone else who could do the part. You CANT say that Ryan is the only one who can play Deadpolo... there are so many other not well known actors out there...
i know he isnt the one, but I know someone else is, but I dont know who that is. I just know he isnt the one
**slobiscuit used "*roll picture*"** **slobiscuit rolled image**eh **** teh feck off? everyone can be a critic. but that man Ryan is not the right guy to play Deadpool. it just doesnt fit him.
You realise that was all down to the writing of GL and the god awful decision to make deadpool that thing. Ryan is the perfect actor to play a quick-witted guy like deadpool or GL.
cancer is a growth, the most he would have is massive scar tissue, its okay in the comics because you cant expect a comic writer to know the intricacy's of medicine but it makes more sense in the movie
Can·cer
kansər
noun
the disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body.
where his healing factor removed cancer there would be scar tissue
In pirates of the Caribbean they ******* CGI'd the entire crew of Flying Dutchman. You really think adding a more pizza-like look to Deadpool's face would have been such a big deal?
In nowadays movies all is about actor's face being seen. That's it. That's the bitter truth.
That's why we have new Fantastic Four with Human Torch burning beyond recognition everywhere besides his head how else they'd shove in our faces that he turned black amirite? or why Venom in Spiderman 3 had his Symbiote face "retracted" in major scenes. Because actors had to be seen. Even a guy who used to be the Predator in the series had, at one point, bitched that he wants his face to be seen in "Aliens vs Predator" movie, or else he won't play the role.
Although we do have serious actors like Hugo Weaving who can go through the entire "V for Vendetta" without a single bit of his face shown, that help me hold at least some remnant of respect for modern movie making.
i was just talking about the actors wont act if their face aint showing thing
also i suppose jonny depp couild also be counted among the "not face shown" since he is mostly known for his niched acting rather than his face which is usually obscured by make up and such
I think they didn't want to go the CGI route with the mask off, since they're CGI-ing facial movements with the mask on.
Pretty much, I'm guessing they wanted it so you knew that this is Ryan Reynolds, and CGI might ruin that.
Why we gotta make individual GIFs of the trailer? What does it add? We have the full trailer in one convenient video screen with sound and everything. Who wasted their time on this? It's like they looked at the video and thought, "Yeah this is nice and erthang but it would be like 100% better if it was separated into multiple inconvenient screens with no sound and often incorrect text at the bottom."
I like that though. I prefer being able to go into the movie knowing that its going to be exciting and funny, but not knowing whats going to happen. Makes it more intriguing.
That said they'll probably bring another one out later in the year.
Well I don't know the plot of the movie, nor am I an expert on deadpool but I'm willing to bet this is because its an origin story. He hasn't been deadpool long so there hasn't been much scarring or cancer "overgrowth" yet so he still looks semi-presenteable. I can only assume it gets worse with time.
I would love this film to be as good as it does in the trailer but at this point I don't have any trust whatsoever in Fox making a ********** superhero movie.
The closest they got was the new Xmen reboot films but even then they're not exactly great.
Considering that Fox originally wanted this to be PG13, but Ryan and the other cast members got it changed, hopefully they had more of a word in on it than Fox did.
I really hope so. I just got back from seeing the 'oh **** it's that time again we don't want these rights to go back to Marvel lets crap out a fantastic 4 movie.'
It's not good. Another complete flop which is really ******* annoying because the first 45 mins or so made me think they hadn't ****** it up for once.
Gotta have some hopes somewhere, but I know what you mean, I'm hoping that the cast had more of an input than Fox itself did. Hopefully this'll put Fox back on the right track, if it's a good movie.
That's probably why they were having that discussion. I'm sure they knew each other before which is why it's such a shock for the other guy, seeing as he knew how good looking he was before.
