The movie looks good but I am more excited about the fact that we are getting an almost 100% accurate Colossus with a Russian accent and red in the suit.
It's the eyes you can see it in the pictures of filming that they have the dots around the eyes.
It's so they can get expressive eyes like the comic and personally I like it but everyone sees the eyes and assumes the rest is CGI too. Almost feel bad for the stunt man doing all the getting throw into cars stuff lol can no one believes it.
I'm willing to bet some money that there is computer manipulation involved in the jaw/mouth area as well at scenes like 1:33 .
Also scenes like 1:30 are likely almost full CG, though that has nothing to do with deadpool, it would probably be done in cg with literally any kind of character.
I think the term to use is he's "enhanced" with CGI you can see pictures of them with wires doing the stunts like jumping of the bridge, flipping over the car, getting thrown into another.
They are trying to make it as live action as possible but for eyes and mouth Deadpool does a lot of expressions that you just can't do with your face under a mask(winking the eyes and what not) so I'm ok with it.
Weapon X is a program which Wolverine was part of and is part of the origin of Deadpool since Wolverine didn't end up the perfect soldier that they wanted they tried to use his DNA to make another.
And the result was the somewhat dysfunctional Deadpool who also didn't become their perfect soldier lol.
I pretty sure you're wrong and right. Wolverine is Weapon X as in Weapon 10. And he was such a big hit that the program splintered off to try to recreate Weapon X which Deadpool was a 'failure' from.
More or less! I wouldn't say he was wrong, but because of Wolverine's potential, they attempted to use what they had to give Wade - An A class merc - The regenerative factor that Logan was born with. At first, it failed to show at all, and because of his cancer, it only ruined him further; however, after winning the Dead Pool, he took on the name and escaped!
I think we can agree its got most of what we hoped for. His comedy but not to much, alittle of his origin, a dash of serious stuff, good action, and 4th wall breaks that dont ruin the mood. Well done
I wanted his face to be more repulsive. People always act like he's disgusting as hell without the mask, but in the trailer he honestly looks like he has liquid latex poured on his face with m&ms here and there.
is that weasel? they didnt really go for similarities, did they. granted, they do look quite similar, but a shave and some hair color could have made it better
Honestly I don't care that they made blind al black, they seem to have gotten the character right and thats mostly what I care about. Also Killbrew may not make an appearance but he may be still in the story and show up in a sequel.
I did not realize that they made blind al black. dafuq
I thought the skinny guy was suppose to be dr killbrew, that they just made him skinny, young, and hot to get the ladies to like him, like what they do for a lot of book to movie characters
>deadpool keeps blind al as a slave a prisoner technically, but when you are forced to cook and clean, i consider it a slave and throws her into a torture room every now and again
>they make blind al a black woman
>deadpool keeps a black woman as a slave and throws her into a torture room every now and again
>movie called racist, sexist, and ablest
>movie gets taken down
>thousands of post-meme deadpool fans are shocked and crying
>post meme deadpool fandom is kill
deadpool fandom wont bail on him he was the first to 900 comics for a reason, but yeah check the IMDb www.imdb.com/title/tt1431045/ it lists al as a black actor and has no mention of killbrew but does say the major villian will be ajax and not t-ray
damn, I was hoping the movie would have been story based, and not fan based t-ray is best ray but then again, how many deadpool fans have actually read the comics.
well i mean ajax was a deadpool villian jsut not the first one, he is as venom is to spiderman Greengoblin is the major villian for spooder just like t-ray was for pool but yeah i dont think many read the comics either, i jsut started last year fron the begining and got confused because the marvel site doesnt list agent x as deadpool so i missed a lot
although i very much enjoyed the fight between ajax and deadpool when deadpool used some smart ass tactics to beat ajax and throw him into a river to electricute him was amazing t-ray is an amazing villain that had a deeper connection to deadpool than ajax, actual spoiler ahead, so if you're not caught up, might confuse some people t-ray was the original wade wilson, and deadpools original name was jack. t-ray and his wife, mercedes, brought in deadpool when they found him floating in the river. after a couple of days, deadpool tried to kill t-ray and ended up killing mercedes as well. deadpool took t-rays identity in order to avoid the police. after he got cancer and during the whole weapon x ordeal, he had trouble remember his life because of the constant pain and operations. so, in his head he really thought he was wade wilson.
Its actually implied T-ray may be lying when he said that or mistaken, Deadpool pokes holes in it and continues to be wade. I guess you could argue either way but I think its meant to be unclear which is the true story. Also I think Ajax is a good beginner villain for the deadpool movie, if this movie does well I would like to see him done in a sequel
Come on, you can't expect 100% accuracy from movies. Iron man, who's 6' 6" in the comics got cast as Robert Munchkin Jr., movie Hawkeye isn't deaf (which is a pretty major defining feature for him) and Deadpool doesn't look like a dog took a watery **** in some rotting minced meat.
And, taught by painful experience, I will continue on worrying that the only good parts from the film were wrapped up in that trailer until I see the whole thing and it turns out otherwise.
This is way better than the Comic Con version. Feels more like the actual Deadpool. The other characters seem pretty different from the comics, most notably the doctor that gave him that roast beef visage being about 40 years younger than he's supposed to be. Other than that, pretty good.
