Hey guys, today I started a low carb diet. I don't know how many people would be interested in receiving updates, but i figured I would post something on day 1.
My starting weight is 270.9 pounds, and I plan to diet for 90 days, then take 90 days off, and possibly start another 90 days.
Some info about me:
I've been weightlifting for about 3 years. I thought that gaining muscle would equate to losing fat, but it didn't. I'm not starting this diet because of my health, it's really just because I want to look better.
Before anyone says anything about low carb diets, I know that the increase of ketones can make your blood and urine acidic, potentially causing kidney or heart failure, but:
1) I'm only doing it for 90 days
2) I'm drinking lots of water
3) I'm having ~10 carbs worth of veggies a day
With these 3 factors, I shouldn't have any problems.
Anyways, I hope I can post a before and after picture at the end and motivate some people and maybe get some motivation back from you.
