I'm totally tardy to the party with this reply, but it's worth mentioning that beyond his looks, he was so much more of a badass.

The ****** could devour worlds. He completely devoured the world of Katarr. Every Jedi, human and animal, save a Miraluka named Visas Marr, had their entire life energy sucked from them, rendering the planet completely barren. In turn, Darth Nihilus used Visas Marr as his right hand, an assassin. Nihilus was like Galactus, except he was slightly taller than an average human, and used a ******* lightsaber.

He also learned a way of the dark side to imbue his entire soul, his essence, into his mask and robes, essentially becoming a simple husk, or presence, rather than a person. That little tidbit made him just so much more of a terrifying beast.

I believe my favorite part of Nihilus is his Flagship, The Ravager. Nihilus survived the destruction of Malachor V, the last planet to be destroyed in the Mandalorian Wars, and with that, numerous republic and mandalorian vessels were lost in the battle and through the mass shadow generator used to sunder the planet. When Nihilus ascended to the entity that he was after Malachor, his hunger sent him in a quest to satiate these urges, and the only way to get him from planet to planet was to appropriate one of the ships destroyed in the battle. Thus, the Ravager was reborn. Nihilus empowered the husk of a flagship solely by Dark Side Energy, and later in his career as a Sith Lord, forged an alliance with a general from the planet Onderon that would give him slaves to bend to his will and use as resources for his ship under the stipulation that Nihilus would not consume the planet, and so the Sith could gain an indomitable foothold on the planet as well.

Anyways, Nihilus is one of my favorite Sith Lords in existence, so here's some info that might reinforce your affinity for him.

No problem, homie. You should get into the game "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic," sick game, and has awesome protagonists and even better sith lords. The first one featured Darth Revan, and the second one, "The Sith Lords" featured Darth Nihilus, along with 2 other badass sith. Very good game series not for the gameplay, but the stories they tell.

Some more Nihilus facts:

He was formally an officer serving under the command of Revan during his fight with the Mandelorians.

He eventually ceased having a physical form all together, with whatever under his robes being a corpse, and the his actual spirit being housed within his mask and robe (so in a very real way, when you look at his mask you really are looking at his face).

Despite him being weak in the game (he was meant to be far stronger, but content was cut due to deadlines) he's acclaimed as one of the strongest Sith to ever live, as just being near him drained your life and made him stronger.

He was able to raise the dead, and could not only bring someone back with body and soul, but could just bring back their body in order to make them a zombie servant. He was served by these types of beings aboard his ship as no living person could stand in his presence for an extended period of time, and (if the content wasn't cut), he raised hoards of undead on the surface of Telos to fight for him as well.

While sentient at the start, by the end of his life he was literally referred to as an animal, or a creature possessing no higher thought function. He ran purely off of instinct and a constant gnawing hunger, and if left unchecked he could have grown so powerful that he was able to devour the whole galaxy.

Despite suffering a betrayal at the hands of Revan, as well as caring absolutely nothing for the Sith as an organization, Nihilus still respected Revan greatly to the point where he considered it heretical to dismantle the Rule of Two, based upon Revans philosophy.

He did not speak in any language known in the universe. He made noise in the form of grunts, growls, guttural moans, and the like; but his real form of speech was telepathy in which he would project his thought and voice inside of your own head. And, much like Darth Traya, it is said that once you heard him speak, his image, his words, and his hunger would echo in your subconscious forever.

I'm going to need a source for your second to last fact. It was actually Darth Bane, who didn't come until hundreds of years after Nihilus, who established the Rule of Two.

He established the Rule of Two indeed, but the Rule of Two itself was based off of a philosophy of strength that Revan came up with. He was the one who suggested that it is best to have only a few apprentices lest they gang up on you, and Bane incorporated it into the New Sith Order after he discovered Revan's Holocron.

Correct. Revan himself did not establish the Rule of Two and it did not exist at the time of Nihilus. So while Nihilus may have almost religiously followed Revan's teachings, one of those teachings was not the Rule of Two.

You are mistaken, friend. Holocrons can make a perfect record of how the individual would have acted in life.

A Holocron is not just a hologram as many people mistake it to be. It's like a living journal, a diary. Basically what it does is, when in sync with your mind, it creates a perfect false version of you. It contains your personality, your views, your ethics, your ideals, your everything, and when accessed in many later years and asked a question, it would give a response that YOU would have given at the time of your life. In this way you can hold a kind of "false" conversation with someone over thousands of years ago. (Note: Not ALL of them due this. Some act as diary's, some act as fake versions of you, it all depends on the type of Holocron).

This is known for a fact as when Darth Krayt was being consumed by his armour and sought to overcome death, he accessed the Holocrons of Bane, Nihilus, and another Sith Lord (whom I forget the name of) as they all had transcended death at some point. However, in turn of their distinct personalities, none of them gave him any advice and all of them judged him a failure as a Sith for dismantling the Rule of Two.

First time I played to 42 or 43 without paying, but then I invested 4€, so I could wear better armour. With this small investment your whole account gets upgraded to preferred status and you'll allowed have a lot more access, more creditstorage and so on. But if you want to play the end content, you have to pay monthly. And as preferred you'll have 7 character slots on each server.

If you plan to do casual-hardcore PvP/PvE then yes. I never play mmos at all (not even WoW) but the Star Wars theme dragged me in. There are a lot of fascinating things during the gameplay of every class/planet/operation/flashpoint etc. End game PvE is also amazing, I enjoy it very much even though I was a hardcore PvPer (took a break from the game because I recently had no time to play). Also you get a lot of perks that a f2p/preferred players do not have such as unlimited credit gap, character appearence settings, unlimited flashpoint (dungeon) / pvp / operation (raids) passes, Access to purple gear (the best one) and many more.
