cryingchicken (09/06/2015) [-] A lot of our human knowledge is based off of pointless things. This little project stands as a proof of concept rather than much else. Before watching this i did not know that by boiling compressed wood you can have it return to it's natural uncompressed state and with this knowledge I am sure engineers have done many great things in the past and will likely continue to. Rather than ask "what can we do with this?" a true engineer would ask "what can we learn from this?"

Also for extra effect you can put wood putty in the little holes left over to make the small cube seamless and even better!
