This can't be real
I know there are plenty of rapists among the 'refugees' but damn

It's not real, its from breitbart news
User avatar #336 to #282 - ihateeverybodytoo (10/09/2015) [-]
yep and unlike most "reputable news" they actually cite sources which are in the article if you look.
User avatar #42 to #25 - belikea (10/06/2015) [-]
Well, it is Brietbart.
#50 to #42 - anon (10/06/2015) [-]
I thought Breitbart was pretty reliable, albeit wrote articles on certain topics more often.
User avatar #80 to #50 - fiveblackmen (10/07/2015) [-]
I wouldn't call them reliable. They are openly right leaning, so they are going to report on/ exaggerate things that proves their viewpoint to be correct or disproves a leftist or moderate viewpoint. I wouldn't call any news source that leans in any direction (like Fox News and MSNBC) a reliable source of news. Although political neutrality doesn't exist, so there probably isn't a reliable source of news.
#215 to #80 - jujuface (10/07/2015) [-]
You can listen to biased news and still trust their information. Most news sources wouldn't outright lie to you, but you also have to be able to think for yourself, objectively in order to spot the spot the ******** .

>For example in this article - the first word in the headline itself: CLAIM
basically gives breitbart a get out of jail free card in case the whole story is ********
>The woman is not named
plenty of reasons to not mention her name, but still cause for suspicion
>She is making this claim after an unrelated controversy with her co-workers there
>they don't tell us what that is
So this claim is coming to light immediately after she was let go. Huge red flag

Take this story with an enormous granule of salt. Personally I wouldn't let it affect my thoughts on the issue one way or another based on the words of a recently fired worker, but this in on the front page. More often than not, people will drink this kool aid right up.

>there probably isn't a reliable source of news

Spot on. If you want to objective news, or as close as you can get to that anyway, you should read both right-leaning, centre and left-leaning papers.
User avatar #288 to #82 - taniv (10/07/2015) [-]
I've had many good experiences with New York Times. When you're not viewing "editorials" or "opinion" pieces, then it's usually pretty good. For example, during the Ferguson trial they released a ridiculously unbiased article just stating the facts and even were one of the few papers to post links to the Court Documents so people could read the evidence for themselves.
User avatar #261 to #82 - Shiny (10/07/2015) [-]
Reading sites with different strong political leanings just increases the volume of ******** you expose yourself to. The only sites with actual facts just emotionlessly state what happened without butthurt screeds between the lines.
User avatar #95 to #80 - toosexyforyou (10/07/2015) [-]
"right LEANING" like really dude? That means this is probably true then
#196 to #95 - anon (10/07/2015) [-]
how does right leaning make it true
User avatar #244 to #196 - lean (10/07/2015) [-]
Because it makes the agenda of the left look bad. If it isn't true, its just propaganda. A group like Breitbart doesn't bother with stuff that isn't true, there is plenty of ammo in stuff that is, which doesn't tarnish reputation. IDK how you can reasonably spin this story into a political ideology anyway- the woman was gang raped and hushed to not damage the cause. Looks like the spin is in the facts, not how they are presented.
#263 to #244 - anon (10/07/2015) [-]
Do you think they'll get arrested for posting blatant falsehoods? Because nobody does. Breitbart was sued for defamation of character on more than one occasion.
User avatar #109 to #80 - obviousxplains (10/07/2015) [-]
its not that they arent reliable--they certainly print things that are true, but if you ONLY read them then youll find yourself in an echo chamber and have 1 view on things. that doesnt mean that their articles arent valid.
User avatar #167 to #109 - fiveblackmen (10/07/2015) [-]
It doesn't necessarily mean they are true or false, just skewed to the right, the same way Fox News twists stories to fit their conservative ideals and MSNBC twists to fit their liberal ideals (although from what I've seen, brietbart isn't quite as bad as either of these). At this point, the problem comes more from a neutral political position being difficult to make a profit from and a seemingly ever-shrinking politically moderate population. People that lean right see their viewpoint as the center and anything left of it as being extremely liberal while people that lean left see their viewpoint is also center and anything that right of it as being extremely conservative. This is why the news networks that are closest to center, like CNN (yes I know there is no new network that is actually neutral but CNN is the closest there is anymore), have been losing viewership in the last few years. People don't want the truth, they want someone that agrees with them or they feel stupid/betrayed/angry. I personally have trouble taking any news at face value when it has such a clear political motivation behind it, like this article. The bulk of it may be true, but that doesn't mean they didn't omit things to make it better favor their viewpoint. So, you are absolutely correct that getting your news from a single, obviously biased source is going to do nothing but reaffirm what you already think you know, regardless of how right or wrong it may be.
User avatar #221 to #167 - infurnus (10/07/2015) [-]
..Annnnd the BBC does it to support their leftist-liberal agenda, thats why as far as the BBC has been concerned, not a single report on the riots/rapes and other attrocities have been commented on when it comes to this whole ordeal.

no borders supports free unrestricted immigration and abolishing borders and deportation. She was raped by a bunch of illegals. If it wasn't detrimental to their left wing beliefs why then was she told to keep silent?
How are you so basic?
This is why libs and conservatives don't agree, some of us feel the need to make sense.
User avatar #284 to #279 - Shiny (10/07/2015) [-]
Your argument is a non-sequitur. Borders are irrelevant to police authority, and are irrelevant to left and right politics; one could just as easily contend that rightists want open borders for cheap labor.
"their left wing beliefs"
So because you blindly accept what tells you what you want to hear, everyone else does too. Because a stereotypical liberal falsely crying "rape!" is suddenly far fetched and cruel to think when the perps are people you also dislike.
User avatar #306 to #284 - lean (10/07/2015) [-]
My argument is: if true, this scenario is an anecdotal argument in support of closed borders: if the borders were closed and immigrants unable to enter, this girl would not have been gang raped. That is explicitly why she was told to keep quiet about it. Whether or not the story is true is a separate subject.

Why the **** do you keep bringing up police authority? or guns?
User avatar #314 to #306 - Shiny (10/07/2015) [-]

You're retarded. I'm done.
#319 to #316 - lean (10/07/2015) [-]
Nothing. Nothing at all. The police are purely reactionary after a crime is committed. It does not enter in to this argument at all. Your train of thought has derailed. Her alleged rape has nothing to do with police or guns. Why you brought it up is a mystery.

Apparently you can't see why getting gang raped by illegals is an argument for closed borders.
User avatar #115 to #25 - synthane (10/07/2015) [-]
Why not? I am almost certain it has happened more than once to multiple people. These immigrants don't care about the people in the places they are migrating to and these "no borders" folks are pretty far out there sometimes.

Sorry to be a prude, but your Liveleak, Corriere, and Infowars sources all cite the Breitbart article as the source. Paradox sourcing isn't reliable. The Nottingham source doesn't specifically say anything relating to the woman being outspoken about immigration either, so I wouldn't count that as a reliable source other than to vouch for immigration rape cases being a thing.

Liveleak version and breitbart version are word for word the same, except this part -
Liveleak:
"Some doubts have been thrown on the case because of the emergence of conflicting accounts. Corriere reports that some of her fellow activists have accused the woman of reporting the rape out of “spite,” because her group was withdrawn from the camp following a separate controversy."
Breitbart:
"But Corriere Della Serra also reports that some of her fellow activists are now accusing the woman of reporting the rape out of “spite,” because her group was withdrawn from the camp following a separate controversy."

Funny how they try as hard as they can to make it seem like the woman's words are infallible. I'll go ahead and wait for proof before I make any judgement on this, thanks.

Problem is such benefits is how the states ended up with race/ethnic background wars over the Irish, Italian, Chinese, and whatnot who were told the states would give them the best life.

Human rights issues abounded since the cities were overcrowded with them... but fortunately we were a big country able to absorb them all.

Someone has to stop providing these benefits before their country ends up dirt poor and having race/ethnicity riots. I'm already seeing the hatred and resentfulness of immigrants in those countries... and while I fully understand it, it's still a very sad thing.
User avatar #303 to #226 - burytia (10/07/2015) [-]
personally i think this whole thing's been conveniently planned to coincide with the TPP

citizens of the first world countries will be super pised when corporations take more power over countries, so they engineered having alot of countries overrun by kebabs to not only make a huge distraction but also replace them with kebabs who wont care about living under corporate **** because they'll still be technically better off than back home, and their kids will be raised thinking living oin corporate **** is 'normal'

history has proven breeding out the natives is possible.... just look at how the brits imported africans into jamaica and turned them from being like native americans into just a new breed of black slaves
User avatar #318 to #303 - elcreepo (10/07/2015) [-]
>when corporations take more power over countries

They already have bruh, they already have.

A ceo can easily spend millions lobbying a congressman to do literally anything. In the case of the tobacco lobbyists, sure it failed because science. But in things that don't take science...

They can have a politician do whatever they want under the table.

Also our mexicans already live on corporate **** . They don't protest it. In fact the situation with our mexicans is what I think to be actual ignorance and not what's going on in Europe, at all. Those people man... most of them stay under the ******* radar or get deported. They want desperately to be a part of our society. They're TRYING to do whatever it takes, even if it means being treated like ******* . A mexican who knows the ******** he'd have to return to if he ***** up, who teaches his kids the ******** they'll put their families in if they go out and rape a person... that is your typical mexican.

Not like your newfound *********** . They know they won't get deported. They know people call deportation racist even for serious crimes. So they exploit it.

Breeding out the natives doesn't work so well, actually, unless you can do as the british did and completely remove them from their native lands. We went full brave new world on the Native Americans to try and assimilate them into the lower ends of white society. It backfired majorly when they went home and realized that what we did to them was beyond ****** up.

And when a people is fully aware of the system they're exploiting... sure, in time your Middle Eastern ********** family is going to be as assimilated to your society as you are used to their culture.

But for now, be prepared for fireworks as these Muslims are being told they don't have to adapt to suit a first world country.

There'd be a ********* brewing even if you did do as Russia did and tell them to either patriotize themselves or **** off.

Immigrants are rarely an easy adjustment, even if they find a niche in the new society. The Chinese were the best at adapting to American ideals and desires, and they were still treated miserably and still fought back, though it's not as well known as with the Irish because the Chinese Americans today believe it was all due to their own desire to be a part of our country, and that is what it took.

well for the most part, corporations were limited to the power bases they had in each country... with the TPP kicking in they'll have more international power, and smaller countires like new zealand are already realizing just how ****** they'll be with bigger richer countries calling the shots on how they run their countries

under the TPP, the actual citizens of the countries will try to raise **** about itand just get stomped back down by the militarized police...and all the while the migrants like mexicans, arabs and indians who are used to living with ****** leadership will just accept it and continue to pop out babies who also grow up accepting it

so effectively the future is nationals eventually getting bred out by migrants who produce several times more children then they do

Well, I don't think that'll ever land in America.

Too much political and social unrest, it would cause **** to severely fly.

Maybe it's just my optimism speaking, but the same kind of sheer douchiness that spawned Trump will probably be our salvation... Trump and the others aren't giving no ***** towards anyone but their own interests, and in doing so preventing hostile "politically correct" takeovers.

However it's also my understanding that the TPP is the trans-pacific partnership. Is this wrong? Because if it's not... the TPP is just one small fragment of the corruption pie, and most of those poverty stricken areas are glad for cheap trade agreements, same as China. It gives jobs where there aren't any.

TPP seems like something the US companies will ultimately profit off of and they don't give a **** about taking over the country itself... who wants a buttload of debt and multiracial ******* to look after.

TPP has already been accomplished once already between the United States and the EU, and is nothing new to the scheme of capitalism among countries.

The profit is in keeping the people poor and ****** . Britain's old idea was to take over the land and therefore its resources, but the people are its most valuable and yet worthless resource nowadays. If the people remain "free" but with a ****** style of government and are always kept poor because they themselves do not possess the education or ability to understand trade and manufacturing, they will inevitably go to these absolutely horrible jobs willingly.

Why lead the horse to water when you can deprive it of all other sources of water, leaving it to seek out only yours?

If those corporations took control of the chaos that is second world countries not New Zealand, and to a large effect New Zealand would be a terrible poor people's place since some of the world's best art and its artistic market comes from there, and you can only have art with excess , they would end up with headaches.

Far better to let them run amok not teaching their people jack **** except how to put tiny stitches in children's shoes.

For a fraction of the cost of trading normally takes among first world countries.

well trump may ...and thats a maybe.... actually tighten the borders, curb immigration from problem countries and holy **** actually stop the war and save america trillions, but at what cost

first and foremost hes a corporate and the bottom line is his primary interest.... and if he cant / wont underpay migrants he'll most likely find ways to underpay nationals

new zealand and england have had issues with governments trying out a 'zero hour contract' plans where basically everyone is a contractor with no guarantee of work per week or per DAY
hell i work in security and half the guys who turn up to our jobs are contractors who are technically 'employed' by several companies and get whatever work they can depending on who calls them first (or at all) each day

trump may do that to americans on the grounds that employers have less obligations to contractors than they would actual staff

the TPP could be considered a huge pyramid scheme.... usa will be at the top, europe on the second tier, china and canada 3rd... and everyone else as the poor bastards sending money up to them

and also, as said before... migrants from the 3rd world are flooding in and will pop out tons of babies in the **** tier countries and basically breed the perfect slave race that just bow their heads and accept tyrant leadership

Also there's the assimilation into society issue which is not happening here. From what I hear many of those immigrants don't even work.

Which is bad. Even our Chinese managed to work and find their places in our society despite having little or no English and a culture entirely different from an American's.

What is this "red pill" stuff I keep hearing about?

It's a reference to the matrix /pol/ likes to use. Red pill means waking up to the reality and blue pill means staying unaware of it. The red pill sounds better but sometimes Ignorance is bliss.

Like in the Matrix - you're either blue-pilled, meaning you live happily in ignorance, or get the red pill, meaning accepting the bitter truth.

From what I can gather, "taking the red pill" basically means you embrace hard truths no matter how unpleasant they are, as opposed to the blue pill where you just kinda turn your back and go "eh, none of my business".

Something neonazis and **** like to say about how in reality all jews are money grubbing **** and somehow control the world even though whites are superior(?), all muslims are terrorists and anyone that's not white is subhuman, and getting 'redpilled' is akin to 'learning the truth'.
