Yeah, if only parents had those reflexes.

I work at a photography studio, and if I had a dollar for every baby head that smacks into our hardwood floor because the parents (not even a foot away) didn't catch them, I'd make more than I actually get hourly.

When I see this gif, the only thing I can hope for is that I will ever be a father who will care so much for his children that he will **** everything just to prevent his child from receiving unnecessary injuries. And with **** everything I mean **** everything.

This commercial is an obvious example of a patriarchal society. The fathers stop the kids from getting fatally injured, but they never stopped to to ask the children if they wanted to get hurt. Prime example of oppression. Additionally a woman would have done a much better job anyway

Willing to bet it's because they had done that kind of stuff when they were kids and know what will go wrong and when.

this made me smile.

This is what my dad has done for me for 19 years

I suppose it has been more like emotional support/tips and tricks for life since you were like 8 or 9, right? I just can't imagine a 19-year-old being saved from a collision by their dad like that

The amount of times I have had to do this is not countable, kids are clumsy ***** , but I'm glad I have them.

Nope, out of the over 100 million people to view this video, you were the only one who reacted the way the creators intended you to react.

That first kid probably would've been close to death or brain damage

Naw probably just a cut head. My own sister ran into a corner of a tool box at a similar age, she had to go to the ER.

I spent the rest of the day beating myself up wondering why I couldn't have the reflexes of a dad. :/

**Orc rolled image** Two things. I kind of feel the first kid wouldn't have fallen into the bricks if his dad hadn't jumped down to catch him, and I feel the one with the bike to be odd. Where did he come from?

THIS IS THE REASON I WORE OVERALLS UNTIL I WAS TEN ******* YEARS OLD!!! He pulled me out of a river, out of traffic, and from going over the edge of a mountain. He was a great dad. Wonder what happened...
