I love QC, my only issue with it is the authors pandering to SJW's and other movements. He established from comic #1(theres over 2800 of them now) that Martin, the main character is 100% straight, and reinforced that multiple times throughout the comic. But then Gamergate happened, the SJW's got fired up, and now Martin is in a relationship with a post-op transexual. Which is fine, it really is, but it broke the flow of the comic and is obvious pandering.

Dunno what's wrong about it, she was introduced as female and still is, I guess she has a vagina by now so there's really nothing wrong about it. He said he wanted to introduce a trans character for a long time and she came out as trans in the comics way before gamergate

I honestly doubt that it´s about GamerGate. People on here tend to believe that was more people give a **** about that **** ...nearly noone does, actually. I guess it´s just that the author wanted a trans character. And that´s not a bad thing, imo.

true as well as it started out as a whole indie hipster thing but after about 500+ comics became more social situation based i always considered it more a treat others nice thing then preachy it feels like he tries to be politically correct but toes the line

after 500 or so in the indie crap stopped if you got the time its worth the catch up yea it can be a little bit political correct at times but its mostly just love your friends and be nice to everyone he even did a few dozen comics dedicated to building the anthro/human relationship and how that operates good comic mostly

QC is nowadays pretty much all PC statements and relationships, rather than ****** music references and actually pretty good humor like it used to be. Ever since that Space Station arc, it's just been getting more and more ridiculous

And where is it said that she's pre-op? He hasn't said either way, and I got the impression that she was full blown female at this point so who gives a toss? He's had his 'Marten gets a new girlfriend' story and now he's doing the 'Faye's getting the help she needs' story. I haven't gotten the impression he's making any kind of statement, and since when has QC not involved a lot of relationship drama? Marten meeting Faye and being into her practically kick-started the comic.

Well I would've thought it was obvious, given the dramatic moment Claire gives when s(he) and Marten have sex for the first time. On top of that, he felt the need to include several strips dedicated to showing how okay Marten is with dating someone who clearly was born a man, and is implied to still have the equipment.

I'm not saying it's always been like that, I'm saying that lately the comic has been nothing but relationship drama. Faye is Jeph's go-to person for mental issues, seeing as how most of what's screwed up in the comic concerns either her or Dora.

It's not a big deal, it's just that Jeph's priorities are skewed. Instead of making good humorous comics like he used to, nowadays it's just appealing to SJWs, just like what they're doing with the female Thor. It's good in moderation, but when you're trying too hard and abandoning where you came from, that's when it's a problem.

Not that he's gone that far yet, but he's getting close.

When I saw that moment it seemed like her being nervous about showing her naked body post-change to somebody for the first time or some **** . I'd rather those strips were in there rather than have everyone be "oh you're trans, cool." and that be the end of it. She needed to be sure the dude was really okay with it, what with this being, I assume, the first person she's dated after transitioning it's gonna be a little uncomfortable for her.
Yes, Faye's the one Jeph goes to for mental issues, because she's the one with mental issues. Y'know, with the whole Dad thing. And Dora's just a bitch I guess.
