magnets or suction cups,if you don't have any,the sink pßlug should function as a rudimentary suction cup.if all else fails,use a corkscrew.

I just got the same sink, and i keep accidentally hitting the switch and changing it to the shower-like setting, and getting water EVERYWHERE.

I've done this a couple times. I would fill the other sink bay with water and pull the plug. The force of the water would pop the lid out. (sink have to share the same p-trap)

Take a knife, ram it through the bottom, that will release any suction, and then you can lever it out.
