magnets or suction cups,if you don't have any,the sink pßlug should function as a rudimentary suction cup.if all else fails,use a corkscrew.

Lean into the sink, press your face against the lid, and suck in your breath. Pull your face away, and voila. Problem solved.

I just got the same sink, and i keep accidentally hitting the switch and changing it to the shower-like setting, and getting water EVERYWHERE.
