magnets or suction cups,if you don't have any,the sink p├člug should function as a rudimentary suction cup.if all else fails, use a corkscrew.

Depends on if the metal it's made out of is magnetic or not

I believe tuna fish cans generally are, but I should go test that theory...

I cans in general are made from aluminium, however I know there are some made out of steel. The former is not magnetic, while the latter is.

Don't worry, we get it, but gentlemen should always discuss scientific background of events.

Use a magnet?

Lean into the sink, press your face against the lid, and suck in your breath. Pull your face away, and voila. Problem solved.

This is an educated person right here. No extra hardware required other than lips and working lungs. Magnets not required.

Burn the house down and start anew, hoping that this never happens again.

I like tuna.
That's my great contribution.
At least I didn't say "Magnet" like 90% of the other comments. Except for then. but we don't speak of "then"

I would be the person to cut the **** out of my hands trying to get that out of there...... those edges are sharp!
User avatar #48 to #21 - meganinja (11/01/2013) [-]
I would be the person to stab it with something until I poked a hole in it so I could life it using the hole.
User avatar #27 to #21 - desuforeverlulz (11/01/2013) [-]
If you could grab the edge, that is.
User avatar #22 to #21 - foelkera ONLINE (11/01/2013) [-]
I would be the person to just grab a strong magnet to get it out of there

Bore a corkscrew through the top and pull.

I think you could get it out if you run water in the other sink.

I just got the same sink, and i keep accidentally hitting the switch and changing it to the shower-like setting, and getting water EVERYWHERE.

I've done this a couple times. I would fill the other sink bay with water and pull the plug. The force of the water would pop the lid out. (sink have to share the same p-trap)
