Cool Pics of Shaolin Monks in Training. As Shaolin monks believe the strength comes only from the mind, there are almost no limits to what can be done with thei

As Shaolin monks believe the strength comes only from the mind, there are almost no limits to what can be done with their bodies during the trainings. They practice techniques centered around balance, strength, endurance, and self defense. They can endure incredible amounts of pain while barely flinching. The design and arrangements of their movements are based on the medical knowledge of ancient China and conforms to the rule of movement of the human body.
They believe that what their bodies can endure is symptomatic of the strength of their souls and minds.

I'm not entirely sure but I think the distortion is caused by the photographer using a wide angle lens, which often slightly warps the edges causing the waterfall to look strange. Like when you see GoPro cam videos, they are distorted at the edges from the wide angle they use to capture a larger field of vision.

I think.

They use the airbenders outfit but they have a drill that is so firebending... And firebending was inspired in their forms while ba gua/capoeira are used for airbending

This has a sort of Three Stooges quality about it. Dude on the right definitely has a "nyuck" or three bouncing around inside his head, yearning for escape.

Yes, you can journey to the Shaolin Temple and ask to join, as long as you do not bring any materialistic possessions in then you can train, however, if you disobey them you will be kicked out. But yeah you can go and live with them at no cost apart from travel and what not

I think you have to start at a young age, bout 9 years old because they believe a 9 year old body is perfect for them since they're not fully developed meaning they can stretch and do hood rat ****.

Rocks... You mean the bricks?
It's just the same idea as the board breaking and stuff you see karate people do.
Take a semi-fragile item, stack it several times, break it to everyone's amazement.
Except these guys aren't cheating...
Putting those little dowels between layers of stuff and breaking it is a hell of a lot easier than straight stacking them.
Space it out and you're breaking many smaller objects; stack them tightly and it's closer to trying to break one solid object.
