Skinwalker
In native american stories they believed some witches, evil priests, had the ability to turn into an animal of their choosing. Or something more in the style of a werewolf, an animal with some human characteristics. These witches were known as Skinwalkers.
They were greatly feared, as to become one, one had to commit an act that destroys one humanity, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in witchery. Murder, necrophilia and incest, are examples of such acts. They also had other powers, such as the ability to drain energy and power from a person's fear, steal your face, mind reading, or if you make eyecontact with one, he/she can absorb him/herself into your body.
Siren
A famous creature from greek mythology, the sirens were a group of female creatures that lived on some rocky islands in the sea, known for their seductive singing. There were hardly any man that could resist the call of their song, luring him towards them, and his death. Exactly how they died though, varies. Supposedly the song itself could kill you, as "the end of their song is death".
Despite common believe, the sirens were not fish-woman hybrids like mermaids, but rather bird-woman hybrids, and not allways beautiful. Both Sirens and Mermaids fall under the category of Undine however, a term that refers to female water spirits.
The Jersey Devil
The Jersey Devil is a legendary creature that supposedly inhabits the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. It is a demon most often described as a kangaroo-like creature, with the head of a goat, a forked tail, hooves, and large bat wings. It also had a "blood-curdling scream".
The origin of it is supposedly a witch known as Mother Leeds. She had 12 children, but one day expected a 13th, who's father was the devil himself. He was born normal, but quickly turned into a creature as described above, killed the midwife, then flew away into the pines were it still resides.
Source of pic is a movie called "The Barrens" from 2012. Fairly good, but it got flaws.

Redcap
Found in tales around the border between Scotland and England. The Redcap were small gnome like creatures that looked like sturdy old men with taloned hands, red eyes, wore iron boots, carried pikestaffs, and had hats colored red from the blood of people they had killed for this exact purpose. They had to recolor their hats regularly, for if the color faded away, they would die.
They typically resided in old castles and ruins, preferably in places were grusome acts had taken place. They were also really fast, running from one was apparently impossible. Religious objects can save you though.
Jorōgumo
Old japanese stories state that when a spider turns 400 years old, it gains magical powers, and a hunger for human flesh. The Jorōgumo is a spider that takes on the form of a beautiful woman, enchanted men by playing her biwa (a type of lute), and while they were distracted, she would tie them up in her web without them noticing before it's to late, and then eat them.
They could reside anywere, but a particularly famous legend tells of one living in a waterfall. Besides shapeshifting abilities, It also had the power to control other, lesser spiders, and even supernatural spiders that breath fire, whom the Jorōgumo used to burn down the houses of people who grew suspicious of them.
And done. Hope you enjoyed. Got any requests for future comp of monsters or the dead? Feel free to share them.
