What 4chan is
>Anonymous
>Imageboard
>Has a finite amount of boards with a finite amount of threads which have a finite number of replies
>Everything is chronological, meaning every post is equal in a discussion
>No rating system, no pseudo-identity based on Karma leading to pandering
What Reddit is
>Confusing, poorly laid out website with an infinite number of 'subreddits'
>Each is moderated only by the owners' choice of mods
>Upvotes and Downvotes bring up popular opinions and literally hide unpopular opinions
>Everything is organised by mob popularity
Your entire sentence is false. Go back to your Leddit circlejerk
We have the option to change the order comments appear in.
For instance, I use top rated when I want to scroll through content and only look and maybe the top few comments that are usually the funniest, and I use date added for when I literally have nothing better to do with my life.
4chan isn't much better. Rather than promoting 'popular' opinions and getting rid of unpopular ones, 4chan promotes controversial opinions by constantly bumping it to the top every-time somebody criticizes it. What ends up happening is that people who agree with a controversial post thinks that the post is well received because it's at the top, inviting all kinds of people who effectively ruin the site by being ****** people. Then something like /pol/ happens.
anything has a confusing layout if you're unfamiliar with it
you think 4chan's layout is good? without a **** load of extensions to add some pretty CSS it looks garbage
I maintain a subreddit for my work. No, reddit is *arbitrarily* horribly laid out. Has nothing to do with familiarity.
4chan isn't much better either, honestly. They both have horrible layouts. But 4chan is easier to customize with all the available extensions, so that's not as much of a bother.
All the guys I know personally from reddit present themselves as if they're of superior intellect. Also, trying talk to them about anything that isn't related to the internet quickly turns into a near impossible task.
I ******* hate redditfags... talking to them is so god damn hard. They don't even know what it's like to talk to a normal person, one guy thought I was a drug dealer because I used the words "sup" and "bro".
But noo, you have to talk with redundant vocabulary and use emotes to get a conversation.
The surprising thing is that, by the looks of things, his thigh saved his testicles from becoming completely exposed. What's even more miraculous is that it doesn't look like either of his testis were punctured. I can't tell if this deer is the luckiest or unluckiest son of a bitch I've ever seen...
It's not even about annoying him. If you don't want him to keep replying, just stop replying back. It's as simple as that. He'll only keep going if you want to keep going.
That's how it works for me, anyway. I guess it's kind of weird how he keeps calling me K-On chan and goes on and on about my avatar like I'm some sort of theme account, but it's not really that annoying.
I have a scar on my cheek from when I was around 11 years old swimming and a ******* squirrel comes from nowhere and lands right on my ******* face.... damn squirrels....
