This is why you don't put elephants and ostriches in the same enclosed area. why do zoos always put them together?

meh i agree that in zoo enclosures that it isnt healthy, but if theyre going to be released back into the wild then they should have some way of learning to be along side the animals that they share the habitat with.

Zoo creatures generally are not meant to released into the wild.

The whole release to the wild thing is just a family movie ******** , since if the animal is meant to be released, it should have no direct contact with humans, no bonds with them and be constantly prepared for the wild life until its released.

If you'd just randomly release a domesticated animal into the wild, it would be equal to killing it.

i see your point, but they do get released into conservation parks all the time. not exactly the wild but they do need to be used to be around other animals, hence why they put african savannah mammals into the same enclosures alot of the time

They do because ostriches are ***** dumb, they are usually scared pants less of anything taller than themselves, you can hold a broom over your head and it will think your bigger than it.
So usually they will stay clear of elephants, why this one isnt i dont know.
