wow its almost as if they have different exams based on what they know.

college students have learned more so get harder exams, ones that they can actually do.

high schoolers get exams based on what they also know.

high schoolers cant do a college level exam because they arent in college and therefore dont know the **** on the exams. yes, college exams are more advanced but high schoolers couldnt even do them. we were all in high school once. you people are ******* retard lol

high school = multiple choice; grade based on participation and homework along with exams
college = no multiple choice (depending on class); grade based on exams only, meaning that more is at steak during each exam.

main thing different about high school and collage is that you usually get tested on one or two chapters at a time in high school. In collage you are being tested half a textbook at midterm and then the whole textbook at finals.

Just you know, somewhat of a difference. And tbh, difficulty is not really that much of a difference, you are learning new stuff in high school anyways, just like you are learning new stuff in collage. It is both new stuff and it builds on past knowledge. It shouldn't be compared to one another but only compared to what you knew at the previous level, which it is pretty much the same gap.

As a college student I disagree. Obviously a college student can claim that a highschool exam is easy, since he's older and knows more. But even relatively speaking, based on all the knowledge you once knew as a highschooler, highschool exams were much easier than college exams. It's a big step from highschool to college, the difficulty is not proportional to the knowledge you've learned since graduating highschool.

So you're saying that because you had the opportunity to serve, the government paid for your schooling, and you've found a good job, everyone else that's having a hard time is a "pussy"?

I bet you graduated top in your class in the Navy Seals and have over 300 confirmed kills too. Asswipe.

I'll be honest I was in all advanced placement courses my senior year. (College level with ridiculously tough exams) nothing has come remotely close since then. This is coming from a guy who works full time and does a full class load at a junior ivy university. Sure college is more work but intellectually its easier. It's just professors doing less teaching

**policecopman rolled image** **** that! I'd go to super weenie hut Jr's for the rest of my life if it didnt mean going to work 40+ hours a week and not have to worry about being an adult.

when college students complain about finals.

I've been out of high school for 7 years and am now going back to college.

Finals are as easy now as they were then. More so even, because I'm more motivated to try. Real life is what sucks.

I thought finals in high school were harder. I wasn't nearly as good at taking exams back then, I had more classes, and the content was spread out over more time. I have trimesters, so it's 3 courses over 10 weeks.
Overall my courses are harder now, but midterms/finals aren't nearly as terrifying as they used to be. Now I see them as a chance to fix my 10 week long **** up.

this is not a fair comparison, we all know very well there is a wide variety of courses with varying difficulties, while in highschool you can stick to the basics and slack off, when you want to specialize in something the material is much more difficult, while there are those in highschool who take their courses very seriously and take college level classes in highschool to which the exams are pretty much carbon copies of college exams. Each advanced placement class has an AP test set up by college board which many highschool students partake in

I can confirm, my cousin complained about exams that were only 47 questions. I had to do a 20-page essay on some kind of nutrition health and why it isn't healthy to be fat. As you can imagine we had feminists too.
