Really? Because that looks like it was cut out with a pair of scissors...

FALSE: Representing Alberta Canada here and i'll like to ring the ******** bell. Our monopoly money does not break in the cold, or rip, or shred. Plus its waterproof, hell it won't burn either. I've tried cutting the **** with scissors and it just folded over. I don't know what sorcery this is but this stuff is literally indestructible.

So, they melt in the heat, break in the cold, and once they are folded, they don't like to ever unfold properly....
Man, I'm missing the old bills more and more.
(Also, apparently counterfeits have already been produced, which these new bills were supposed to prevent)

From what I've been told (this makes no real difference since it would be easily replicable): the new bills smell like maple if you scratch and sniff them. Now, I'm either being fooled by every body that I handle cash for at work, or they actually do. Unfortunately, I never have cash on me, so I haven't been able to check anyway.

Besides that, I actually like the new bills. I like the new look and designs. The $5 is probably my favourite out of all the new bills in terms of design. I've never had any issues when I have them with me. It sucks to hear about all these problems people are having with them.

Do they really do that? Melt in heat/ break in cold?

I take it you've never had real money. They're high maintenance. You have to feed them, have to water them, and have to make sure they don't **** on the floor and use your computer when you're gone.

Thank god I haven't had this problem with U.S. currency. It's -4* F (-20* C) right now, and I would hate it if all my money started to break apart.

So how does this happen? When you leave a 20 in the snow or a freezer? It's not like normal paper money would hold-up any better, especially if it gets wet.
