Okay. Time for a real talk.
Does anybody not hold doors open if there's someone behind them?
Cause regardless of gender that **** is rude, for real.

I don't know a single living soul irl who associates opening doors with gender.
But funnyjunk seems to think its a big deal.

"chivalry is dead"

That's what you get when everything is the patriarchy

>Walk through a door

Polite.
>Walk through a door
>Don't notice someone behind you
>Don't hold door open
Not rude. Not polite either, but not rude.
Me holding the door open for you is something that I WANT to do, I like to know that I made someones life slightly easier. But if I don't ******* notice you, don't stop and castrate me with a rusty knife, I probably already feel kinda bad already.
It's stressful.

I thought the 'respect towards women' only applied to the woman directly related to the person you served (the wife, daughter, mother, cousin - all that stuff)?
So none of pic related.

I agree with antzell, although a bit differently.

I don't want some big black daddy going free from murder just because he worked out for 30 years and can use his dick as a spear. I DO, however, want to see duels (including to the death) legal. As in, you can challenge anyone, anywhere, anytime, and if they accept you both sign a contract saying "Hey, if they kill me, it's all good" and then you go at it with fists or swords or guns or what-have-you (In front of an audience too, of course. To make sure there's no foul play)

"Chivalry is not dead. Chivalry is alive and well. You are thinking of your mother" pic is the source

didn't chivalry dictate you not challenge a woman to a fight?
User avatar #20 - mynameisgeorge ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
That's because chivalry is the moral code that men must practice when dealing with men

Courtesy is what men must practice when dealing with women
