And now they are trying to control people with positive reinforcement, because all the negative stuff they were doing was causing riots that they've been desperately trying to keep hidden from the rest of the world. What is it with Asian countries and ******** on their citizens. Censorship here, dictatorship there, and some good old fashioned internet police who get paid to spread propaganda.

thechosentroll (12/17/2015) [-] Nah, it can't really work in the US. It'd work to a degree, because stupid people are common in every country, but western culture kind of clashes with it. For starters, people in the west don't do the whole "I MUST DO BEST FOR FAMIRY!" thing. If you get Bs or Cs in school, you're not getting disowned. So there wouldn't be as strong of an urge to get a perfect score. Plus, we have the whole " **** the system" thing where people will intentionally try to get as low of a score as possible just because they can.
