If you can make people hate the character that's supposed to be hated*
If a character is supposed to call for sympathy from the audience but is cast off as a whining bitch and hated as such, then that's either due to poor acting or poor writing. An audience can hate a character because the actor did a ****** job portraying them (or the writer did a ****** job writing them).
Yeah, that **** does happen a lot, but for some reason people here think because they appreciate the actor EVERYONE ELSE appreciates the actor, and that's just not the case especially for those who act out the type of characters that Joffrey and Draco Malfoy fall into.
They didn't. That story line was far beyond where everyone else was in the books. All the other plot lines had to catch up, so they will be back for season six.
Peter Dinklage went to this really snooty private school near me, so I like to imagine he would make fun of all the preppy rich kids. I think that hair supports my theory.
