Hey FJ! Rollercoasterexplain here, haven't done one of these in a while. I am here to show one of the greatest amusement parks in the world! THE ROLLER COASTER CAPITAL OF THE WORLD! CEDAR POINT! Located in Sandusky, Ohio, Cedar Point boasts the second most roller coasters in the world. With the exception of one (Millenium Force), I will be showcasing 15 of their roller coasters. Youtube videos to follow.

This one here is their tallest ride. It was the tallest coaster in the world at one point at just over 400ft. tall, dubbed the Stratocoaster, Top Thrill Dragster takes you for a ride where you're launched to over 120mph, over the 400ft. hill and corkscrew straight down! Top Thrill Dragster is built by Intamin. If you're wondering what the tallest coaster is, that goes to Kingda Ka in New Jersey, at 425ft.+. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbN3NU4hIZg

Cedar Point's newest ride is a B&M (Bolliger and Mabillard) Winged Coaster! Gatekeeper was built in 2013 with the records holding as the highest and longest winged coaster, as well as having the highest inversion of any winged coaster in the world. You can find Gatekeeper right at the front gate! www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKpz9_kXBOw

Our next coaster and possibly the most unique is Gemini. Built by Arrow Dynamics, it is one of 2 wooden coasters ever built by Arrow, the other being Excalibur in Minnesota, only this one is racing! That's right 2 trains are going at the same time. Gemini was built in 1978 and has been a mainstay ever since. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXvw9uI42zk

This here is Maverick! Another new one built by Intamin in 2007, this ride is just a blast from beginning to end. With relentless air time, a unique magnetic lift hill, a launch in the middle of the ride, and most of the air time comes with twisted hills! It's like a bucking bronco! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzuBc36gzNU

One of the more legendary rides of Cedar Point is Magnum XL 200. Built by Arrow Dynamics in 1989, this old beast still packs a punch as being one of the first mega coasters built at 200ft. tall! Ironically for being an Arrow coaster, it's one of the least roughest coasters built by Arrow! Arrow built 4 other hyper coasters but they didn't receive nearly as good as reviews including the Big One, Desperado, Titan, and Steel Phantom which got converted by Morgan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sNDlc7U6DU

Here is the unfortunate worst ride of the park. Mean Streak, at one point the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world built by Dinn Corp. in 1991, Mean Streak developed a bad reputation as being the roughest wooden coaster ever built, rougher than Son of Beast! AND IT'S STILL ACTIVE! Thankfully Dinn Corp went out of business... www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFGeMtyDQt0

And here is the original icon of the park! BLUE STREAK! Built in 1964 and being the oldest active coaster, Blue Streak is iconic for it's blue paint and being named after the local city's high school mascots the Blue Streaks. Blue Streak is built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5aeLbY4bE8
Another legend in the coaster world is Corkscrew. Built by Arrow Dynamics in 1976, it is the first coaster to feature 3 inversions and a midway. Again almost like a fluke, it isn't that rough compared to most Arrows, this is also not to be confused by many other Arrow coasters named Corkscrew around the world including in Alton Towers. www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1iGwMl-SDc

I gotta hand it to Cedar Point for having such a variety, because a lot of the models you're seeing here are either rare, or dying, such as the suspended inverted coaster here named Iron Dragon. Made by Arrow Dynamics in 1987, the coaster is one of a handful left in the world, instead of being fixed to the track, the coaster cars are hanging in which they'll swing from side to side around the track. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGrmbg_h0Cw

One of the most popular Arrow models besides corkscrews and Inverted SLC's, was the mine train coaster including this one built in 1969. Cedar Creek Mine Ride is the 2nd oldest roller coaster active at the park. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpJ9l2w4haw

This here is Wicked Twister, a popular Intamin clone of a suspended launched coaster where riders go back and forth through the station towards either a twisted or straight drop! Clones include a ride like this in Minnesota and Vertical Velocity in Six Flags Great America. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMXcr1Oln4w

One would think after Jurassic World this ride would be popular again huh? The unfortunate least ridden ride at the park is the 1994 built Raptor, a B&M inverted coaster and one of the earlier ones built by the young company. It was the first coaster to feature a Cobra Roll. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Qt1LutrWnY

Although a popular mainstay since 1996 as Mantis, this B&M floorless model has since been remodeled and renovated in 2015 and since been renamed Rougarou. It was originally a stand-up model when first opened. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuweAtyeUuU

The final 2 I'm combining to one as they're both Junior coasters, made for kids, the top one is Woodstock Express built in 1999 by Vekoma, the other one was originally Junior Gemini built by Intamin in 1979, and since last year has been relocated to Camp Snoopy and has been renamed the Wilderness Run. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVmY-yC0WY8 www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeB4hKeV8G0
