"Meme" is a term used to measure a unit of culture, a single idea or whatnot.
It's part of a field of study called "memetics." Memetics attempts to organize culture in a similar fashion as genetics.
Let's say you know about a band that your friend doesn't know about. You have a meme that they don't. When you share the band with them, memetic transfer happens and your friend now share a similar meme, in this case: knowledge of a band's existence.

I have a flexible schedule and a chill boss, but I watch twitch and stuff while I work sometimes. But I get all my work done even while watching it. Sometimes I end up with nothing left to do but answer a phone.
