loved it until the ending. cant remember why though.
User avatar #161 to #68 - daxtercelebi ONLINE (09/27/2015) [-]
If i remember correctly, the ending was something about the wish (Which was the prize of the race) being a bit bogus because you are forced to use the wish to save the world instead of using it for your own desire or some **** like that.

User avatar #251 to #33 - ssjkirbylols (09/27/2015) [-]
I'm actually watching through it properly now, since premi channels like Jetix were like the super expensive package 8 years ago. I always kinda thought Eva was hot though >__> how old is she anyways? She seems "developed" but she's kinda short so like 16-17?
User avatar #263 to #33 - seventhmark (09/27/2015) [-]
**** was actually one of the first anime to reach the U.S.
Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and Oban in that order.
(Well, obviously Ghibli movies along the way)

I don't think people ever understood that Oban was literally an anime.

I remember two flash games for Cyberchase:

In one, the player would have a grid set before them. There were squares on the right that would fit onto the grid. The goal was for the player to make shapes that would turn into "spaceship designs". The player had to make a set number of distinct designs before they would be given more pieces to work with.

In the other, the player would find a railroad track that was missing x units of the track. There would be pieces at the right that were each a significant number of units long (varying from 1 unit, to 2 units, to 3 units, to 4 units, all the way to 9). The player would insert y and z units of track, unless they were to use 3 pieces, which would be y, z, and w. The number of pieces used didn't matter, as long as it fit the formula x = y+z [+w+v+...].

That's all I recall from them. With enough time, I may be able to find them again.
#329 to #177 - anon (09/27/2015) [-]
There was some sort of puzzle game where you had a room, places to walk around, and a racing game I could never get past because I needed to get Mud Wheels but I couldn't find any.

I also remember an online website with a lot of simple math stuff. As a kid I grasped the moral lessons the stories contained but any math that didn't involve shapes or simple addition/subtraction was lost on me.

Still love the show. I rewatch it often. Sad how my S4 ended so quickly after it started to get really good. Tried to watch the new live action show. Couldn't get into it. The actors don't resemble the characters at all.

Live action problems:
-Yumi somehow shrunk and is no longer the tallest
-Ulrich is too tall. He was never tall to begin with.
-Odd looks like a ******* 8 year old.
-Aelita is too tan, looks almost nothing like her, and has almost no personality.
-Jeremie is too tall.
-William looks far too similar to Ulrich.

They should have just stuck with being a cartoon. I want to get into the new show because I loved it so much and it seems to add some new interesting things, but I just can't. Can someone tell me if it's worth it?

I love the show so much I'm working on re-creating the entire world(real world+ sectors) in Minecraft. Using a custom texture pack as well. /if anyone is interested, I can provide a link.

I had a VHS tape that had the episode where a baby got the mask and went on an ice-cream fueled rampage alongside some bikers or some **** .
It was pretty great.

This was my crack during the late 00s, seriously the only good and became one of the greatest CN shows IMO show on CN during the horrible live action craze they had, and it was one of the most underrated action shows Ive seen. Am I alone with this opinion?

I dont think the Secret Saturdays can be considered classics yet, at least I dont think so, sure its been a few years but not THAT long, still it was a great show with an acceptable ending.

I think it will become one of the shows that will be seen as a "forgotten jem", but only time will tell~

Honestly I only liked the theme song

Hell yeah, as a kid growing up in the 2000s I'm glad there was something good during the dark, dark age.

Yep, well I was around 11-13 when the show was on, but I still enjoyed it~

I ******* loved that show. It's too bad my family temporarily stopped paying for Austar/Foxtel or whatever they're calling themselves now and I never got to find out what happened after we found out that Zak was Kur
User avatar #144 to #121 - killugon ONLINE (09/27/2015) [-]
well I will make it short

> The secret scientists go against the Saturdays and want to neutrilize Zak/Kur
> The Naga kingdom start to make an army and attack Manhattan
>V.V Argost is presumed to have died in Antarctica
> V.V Argost oofers to train Zak so he can become stronger (Like Vader and Sidious)
> Collect certain artifacts in order to understand more about Kur
> Argost steal them and transports Zak Monday from the alternate universe
> Argost absorbs his powers and then kills Zak Monday, making him Kur aswell
>Argost is revealed to have killed Drew and Doyles parents in the Himalayas
>Argost is also revealed to be a Yeti, who has killed everyone who known his non human ties, including Baron Finister and one of his own friends
>Argost leads a global army in order to destroy all capital cities
>Argost absorbs Zaks Kur DNA, but as matter and anti matter touch inside him, he dies and explodes
>Van Rook sacrifcies himself in order to save Drew
>The last episode ends with Van Rooks funeral, with news reports talking about an organization saving the world as "The unsung heroes of our time"
>THE END

Well that wasnt short at all, but I didnt tell you everything if ya wanna see the last 10 episodes ~

You have to be stupid to not know that Argost was responsible for Drew's parents death.

Yeah, but something that caught many off guard was that he wasnt human...
User avatar #151 to #148 - dragontamers (09/27/2015) [-]
But he's so white and has fangs. Sure, I didn't guess that he was a Yeti but I sure as hell knew that he wasn't human.
User avatar #152 to #151 - killugon ONLINE (09/27/2015) [-]
Piecemeal was human, but he had surgically made his fangs into ****** murder machines, but I see where you are goin

does anyone remember the second season(?) where they brought in new "powerful" bots that gave them a reason to break the rules?
