here's the jam for you:
Welsh Dragon fought White Wyrm of Anglo-Saxons, Welsh Dragon lead the White Wyrm to the base of Mt. Snowdon, where they both drank the mead-filled lake - both set as stone under the lake, and wales was protected (Remember that this is a Tale, not something that really happened, however it is still historical)

The dragon you think of was a different dragon that was, not only green, but was an invading dragon which threatened the princess of England during that time of which I cannot remember exactly. In reality, it was a crocodile that escaped from Richard I into the River Stour - St. George slayed the dragon (crusty croc) and so the princess was saved.

I am sorry for such a long paragraph, but I thought you should know the difference because it's useful to know if you're into historical tales and such.

Welsh Dragon had nothing to do with St. George, because:

Welsh Dragon = Red, fought White Wyrm of Anglo-Saxons to protect Wales
Dragon in pic = Green Dragon - may have been mistaken during Richard I's reign as a crocodile, which was one of his exotic pets in the River Stour

As my conclusion, I can safely say that dragoon in the pic isn't our (Welsh) dragin
