That's a great idea, that's going to not only protect him against the sun, it will also protect him from rain even in autumn when the tree looses it's leaves. It will also keep him much warmer in the winter than sitting in the snow next to a tree would.
10/10 idea, thank you entrepreneur.

Capitalism doesn't equal corporatism

All jokes aside, I simply don't find this to be an accurate representation.

it would be caitalism if the guy in the hat owned the tree to begin with.

Here in Canada our politicians give most of our resources away if a company only produces a certain amount.
This was designed to allow smaller companies to start up without a tremendous capital investment but what is happening is big companies petition politicians to increase those quotas every year.
At this point they are so high that the companies are making billions in profits but the country gets no revenue because the companies stay under the quota.
Now there are laws getting passed that allow foreign companies to import foreign employees so Canada won't even have the jobs (which doesn't amount to much revenue anyway).
These workers are often allowed to "disappear" and so our illegal alien problem is dramatically increasing which also increases the strain on our economy.
I work hard, have never wanted for a job, and make more than enough money but I think a little protectionism is in order here.
Get foreigners the **** away from our raw resources!

The difference is that he own the thing now.

The joke is that Capitalism often takes something you already have, like water for example and promises that a private market will make it better. Then they rape you.

I don't see the problem, that shelter is much more protective than a tree. and the ******** didn't build it himself, so he paid for it.
#31 - anonymous (02/06/2014) [-]
Yeah it would be so much better if we lived under trees instead of in houses.
#12 - anonymous (02/06/2014) [-]
I call ******** . This analogy falls apart on so many levels.

Property rights is the cornerstone of capitalism. If the tree did not belong to the entrepreneur, he would have fallen outside his rights when he cut it down and have broken the law.
No one forced the sitting person to buy anything. Purchases are a voluntary arrangement. You buy something because its perceived value to you is greater than its cost, otherwise you would determine not to.

Now you listen to me, you little **** . There is a reason why Capatalism is part of our Western Culture, because it works. No, its not perfect, but show me a country that is. If you live in the west, then there is a good chance that you don't go hungry every day, you sleep in a warm bed at night, you have a job, health care available whether you pay for it or not. The phone you use, the TV you watch, the games you play are all there thanks to innovation which is there thanks to Capitalism. If there was no demand, or chance of profit, the companies that make the stuff you use, would not exist. Would you rather live in Russia, or China?.

I mean its wrong that people do make money like this but
I've always seen making money by any sort of
nature a good thing because it keeps money pumping
through the system. Surely these companies that make
money like this later use it for their supplies or product development or wages etc'
and continuously loop like this not including what the people do with their wages
which probably isn't too far off. And then surely that money goes
elsewhere and loops like that keeping wages and what not paid.

I dunno, I'm high.
