Doubt it, he's actually done **** . Sure he doesn't elaborate very well on his points in speeches but he's done all the stuff he talks about. He's done trade, built things, turned a good deal of money into a great deal of money. His actions speak for themselves. That's not even to factor in his X factor of not being another pantie waist limp wristed fairy like Obama or most other candidates.
Though, and I will admit he is a good business man, that wouldn't really come into play holding office. You can't run a country like a business as Trump will want it, he wouldn't have unfettered control over every part of it like he does with his business, he has people who he has to answer to and will reject decisions of his.
True, he won't be a dictator, but many of our problems are simply having political appointees being in charge of things as opposed to the best people for the job. He will be able to put the right people in charge of the agencies and in his cabinet. He has leadership skills and massive public support to whip the republicans in both chambers into shape, if they keep both houses that is.
He wouldn't be able to maintain that "I say things as there are attitude" if he wants continued political support, or at least he has to have some sort of decorum about it. It's also that leadership in business and politics are radically different and what woks for one may be awful for the other. It's too early in the election to really see what he's moving towards so a lot of it is just guesses and speculation. We'll get a clearer view of it when the primaries come round. For me I enjoy how Bernie Sanders is actually for the people.
Everyone who knows him says this is just the public figure trump we are seeing, he has calmed his tone quite a bit the past few weeks. As for Bernie, I watched quite a bit of the debate last night. He may seem like a man of the people, but math says otherwise.
More debt, he can claim he's going to tax the rich more til the cows come home, but you can tax them 100% and get rid of the military and it wouldn't pay for what he wants. It's basic arithmetic.
Yeah but that's nearly every democrat each election. I would think he is opting for less tax breaks for the rich and less military spending in the long wrong as a start for the debt, but with most of the issues on both fronts it's just too early
Have you read Trumps tax plan? It's pretty good, closes tons of loopholes including the wall street loopholes people hate so much, among other things that are both pro-growth and reward investing and saving.
A lot of people will say they have heard of things when they haven't to not look uninformed but I'll admit I haven't seen his Tax Plan. I'm trying to pay little attention in the run right now because it's not going to be to imperative till December
Ah, well for starters singles making less than 25k and couples making up to 50k pay no income taxes, the highest bracket lowers to 25%, it closes tons of loop holes and removes the foreign earnings deferral so companies have to pay taxes on money made overseas now instead of whenever. Among other things like a plan to get the 3T being held overseas brought back and reinvested here.
