Why the **** do you have to PAY to learn about your country's goddamn HISTORY
User avatar #3 to #2 - flemsdfer (08/15/2014) [-]
Because everything needs money. Go to a museum, there's employees, there's lights, water, and gas. Something's gotta pay for all that. You'd either do it at the door when you visit or you'd pay more taxes to cover it all.

The library doesn't cost you to enter though, and there's plenty of history to be found there.

Who cares? Canada has no real culture or heritage other than destroying natives.

And I don't want to be a canuck citizen.

And USA's heritage is what?

Destroying natives.... and treason.

Museums are free to the public in most other countries, what's so special about this.
User avatar #10 - wacemindu (08/15/2014) [+] (6 replies)
Most Museums in the UK are free to enter. Individual Exhibits may charge but largely the museum is free .

Amerifag here, I mean I'm not an avid museum goer but the handful I have been to have only ever asked for donations instead of charging a flat rate, seeing as how every third comment on this is something a log the lines of "oh museums are free in most European countries"
Example; The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.
Also, this card covers a **** load more than museums so idk why people are talkog specifically about that

Canada mentioned? Looks like it's time for Harmless, good spirited patriotism from our Canadian sons and daughters. Good show favourite child.

canada is the greatest country ever!
we are the nicest people in the world! everyone should learn from us!
we have never lost a war and everyone wants to be us!
americunts and eurofaggots are all backwards, racist, and war mongering
we are a nation of peace and control the world's water supply

so, hows it like paying extra in texes to keep those museums running through gov. money? beyond that sounds like a neat idea, but i'd hate to go to the music museum of canada, all the beiber, nickleback, and fridays.

What's canada like? I'm going up next week to Vancouver. Are there mounties everywhere and maplesyrup falls as well.

What's Canada like? Geographically-wise, it's...varied. Vancouver is all rain, trees and mountains. Alberta is dry as a bone. The other prairies are 99% wheat and 1% barley. Ontario is alright. Quebec hates every other province/territory and every other province/territory hates Quebec. The maritimes are wet, Newfoundland is a big rock, and the northern places are cold as **** . Culture-wise, we're like...England 2.0. Or America with all the bad parts cut out.

I honestly hate how easy it is to get into Canada. We have so many foreigner that complain about how bad their countries are then they move here and complain about how different it is.
