He ought to be funny. He's been co-writing the most recent Deadpool series

Deadpool=/=random

The guy with the second highest kill count of any canadian in history hasn't done random things for the sake of randomness in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo*inhales*oooooooooo ooooooooooong time. A couple of decades, at least. See, the "random" things he does are either him getting sidetracked, making a reference or trying to confuse and distract someone. When taken out of context, they seem very "lol so random purple monkey dishwasher", but in context, they make perfect lots of enough sense.

actually if you read deadpool vs carnage. deadpool has never acted randomly

everything he does has a reason. everything that anybody does has a reason and can be traced and predicted if you just know how the world works

he actually caused carnage to go into heroic villanous bsod by proving this.

Well, he kind of acted randomly for the sake of randomness ages ago, when he ran into some really **** writers, but that stuff's been retconned, killed and buried so deep even mole people will have to dig down to find it.

But you're right. Like I said, he no longer does random stuff. It's mostly a tactic to confuse the enemy and to amuse himself.

>>#23, this is the retcon.

Honestly, it's kind of hard to keep track of which version of him is the canon one anymore. He gets rewritten so often that when he got married the vows ended with "Till retcon do us apart".

not that hard really. all of the canon ones are printed under the same title. usually the same writer and artist as well.

most one shots have a special mention on what universe they set in or if they are non canon. and crossovers are a tad harder but usually they also give implications on what universe they take place and so on.

just takes a little practice to get used to comic book continuities.

I guess I just lack it. I'm not that big of a comic book nerd. Mostly just read what I can find online. Namely Deadpool, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-man and Green Lanterns.

viewcomics.com

it has everything put in a nice orderly fashion.

most stuff is from the latest retcons so you dont have to worry about running into previous retcon versions.

but it also has a lot of the classic comic book as well.
