Only rich people have iPhones. No low level thugs would have an IOS phone. The same can't be said about Android.

I don't know if this is true or not, frankly I don't care. Why do you people care so much about this? If you've got nothing to hide, then you shouldn't worry about NSA spying on you. So again...why do you care so much?

Give me a list of your credit card purchases, I want to see what you buy. Also where you live, and some names of family members.

You don't have anything to hide do you? You should be fine giving me all of this unless you do.

Here's the problem. First, your finger prints belong to you, no one else has them. Why do they need them in the first place? Second, if they want this information, what else do they want, and why? To sit there and say "there is nothing going on just keep thinking this is all normal" Is the mind of a simpleton. We as a society accept things too easily as "okay things to do." Because we are lazy, and think we have no control over what the government does when its our words that matter, and scare, the government of being caught of their treason. Next they'll ask for DNA samples, will you have a problem with that? Its slowly escalating

For the tinfoil hats still worried:

As a developer I regularly monitor all packets sent to and from my phone (I route all traffic through a personal proxy server and log it; and it uses my server's SSL certificate so I can read/edit secure/encrypted data). I know every byte of information sent to and from apple, and would be able to tell in seconds upon checking the log that they were transmitting my fingerprint data (or sending me a fingerprint to try to match with to track me if it matched, should they go that method, as several people have suggested as a workaround).

It is NOT POSSIBLE for them to get away with doing this without someone like me noticing, and the PR nightmare they would go through for pulling something like that would cost them too much money to ever consider it.

Plus, anyone at risk enough for them to warrant needing to track fingerprints isn't going to be stupid enough to buy and use a phone with a fingerprint device. Criminals worried about being tracked use cheap burner phones. The cost of implementing this system is extremely large, and it wouldn't actually catch anyone.

I actually had NSA agents come to my home because I ******* blocked their **** because I thought it was some ISP infected malware. It's still blocked and if they want to **** with they can piss off my dual citizenship with Russia.

okay.. I'm pretty sure fingerprints are already being used to track suspects in police investigations... I'm pretty sure they already have your fingerprints.

Okay, but
A) What could they do with these fingerprints that they couldn't already do if they felt like it
B) Where is the source, so we can know if the site is not just a hoax news site
C) It's not like there aren't ******** of other technological products that don't belong to apple. Simple solution if you're honestly worried: don't buy any apple products.

... so? Stop being a paranoid nutcase you ******* idiotic conspiracy theorists... the government isn't out to get you, calm the **** down. The whole world isn't against you. You're no one important, they have no reason to give a **** about you. So they don't really care about you, you're just scaring yourselves and others for no real reason.

I got arrested last year and now my fingerprints are on file for life.
