That modeling icing that they use to make the sculptures and shapes on the cakes look smooth, but it just ruins the cake to me. I had a cake made of that stuff once and it was like eating clay. It feels kinda stupid to me that they would purposely ruin the cake by using a sugary brick instead of normal icing, which is both softer and sweeter, just so they could have an easier time making shapes out it. They need to either go back to art school or learn to cook and stop screwing around in the middle. If you make a statue out of cake and it tastes like **** , then maybe you should have used clay instead.
